Customer Reviews

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 283 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value and easy to use I bought the nail gun for a DIY project I was working on. After reading many reviews, I decided on the Hitachi. The gun is very easy to use, and after reading through the instructions I was up and running. I have already used several nail cartridges and the gun hasn't missed a beat. I have been sure to add 5 drops of oil before each use as noted in the instructions. Wish I had bought one sooner! July 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This was a great purchase for me. Light weight and easy to use. I have always wanted one of these for myself and I finally bought one when redoing my woodwork. Glad I did. Easy to use and light weight. I would recommend this to anyone that does furniture repairs or light wood working. June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by looks and feels great! this product looks very good compared to other nail guns and feels very good in the hand as well. it is a nail gun though, so as long as it does its job, there is not much more to ask. June 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love all the features on this product. Its light weight and works great I recently became a fan of Hitachi when I purchased a framing nailer a couple months ago. I was impressed with it's performance on an eight foot privacy fence I built. It put my cordless paslode to shame. I decided to give the angled finish nailer a try and I must say, I'm sold on the product. Its light weight and gets the job done. I love all the features it offers. I just hook up to my compressor and my day of work begins. I plan to purchase other Hitachi products in the future. I definitely urge you to try it. Thanks! Hitachi and keep those products going October 31, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dosen't work well in cold weather Have to warm it up before using when temperature in below 35 December 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent control one double tap @ 3500 nails. The Hitachi tools I have used, starting in 1983, have all been excellent. The 3/8" drill s/n 67020 4 is still on every job site with me.I have used company framing nailers which outlasted others 3-1. Very satisfied with control, power and balance of this trim nailer.Glad I spent extra $10 for angled nail feed. December 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent nailer I make primitive crafts from reclaimed pallet wood. This nailer has no problems driving nails through the hardwood some of it nearly an inch thick December 12, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by plastic magazine and and nail feed Purchased the nt50ae2(s) new a while back and was sceptical of the plastic magazine and spring carriage. Too much clearance ( slap) between critical moving parts which require fine tolerances each and every time.Main body and firing still in top condition- never dropped or been under abnormal working conditions. obviously inside fit outs etc. Pins work their way between plastic body and nail feeder....a real pain which creates misfires.Trying to figure out how to retro fit a better metal feeder off one of my old cc braders which for years never failed. Guess if you discount the nail problem - a fair little tacker. July 11, 2015
