Customer Reviews

4-Piece Angled Finish Nailer, 2 in. Finish Nailer, 1/4 in. Crown Stapler and 6 gal. Compressor is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 247.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good at first This was a great gun at first . Used as a homeowner for trim work. After about 2 years , all of a sudden the nail magazine doesn't close completely . Gets jammed about quarter of an inch from locking closed. A bit disappointed , thought it would last longer. That's why IU cannot recommend it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent for the first 3 years After some years of casual use (woodworking projects, off-and-on 2x a month tops) it began to jam every few nails,.. then the 'jamb-of-death', which leaves the slider mechanism completely disabled. Oh, and this NEVER properly fit a 2" nail- always too tight to fit comfortably. I used Hitachi nails (which were inconsistent to +/- .14" throughout a pack) and tried Grex nails, Porter Cable nails, and Bostich - all to the same result

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, great Used for the first time today.Worked very well, drove 1 1/4 " nails below the surface. I did have a couple of instances where the nailer would not fire---After rechecking the manual, i believe it was because i had the pressure set too low(below 60 lbs in both cases.) Like i said earlier, this was the first time I used it and am still learning the features--looks like its going to work just fine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbeatable, must-have tool I have used this Hitachi product for over 8 years and have had absolutely no issues or problems. It has proven to be extremely reliable, durable and powerful. All of the other Hitachi products have produced the exact same results too - an excellent investment and highly valuable instrument.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Tool and real work horse, reliable. I drove over 50000 staples in the first couple of weeks of ownership, Comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flawless Sparked at first but settled in and worked perfectly. I am midway on two thousand feet of oak hardwood flooring. It replaced my old Senco and is nearly as good, even new Senco is not the old Senco.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good concept but disappointing I do finish carpentry professionally and this unit could not keep up with a couple of finish guns. I burnt it up just after the warranty expired. I have read a lot of similar bad reviews. I expected more from Hitachi.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Buy I am a commercial/ residential cabinet installer. I did not even take this compressor to work and yet it failed me with a week or so of use. I lost the receipt, and chose to fix it myself. I have had to weld one of the compressing valves shut just to make the piece of junk ....useable? I still peek out at 105 psi and have to shut it of before the motor overheats. I do not write reviews on any products, however, this product was the biggest waste of my money and truly deserved it. Save those receipts kids!
