Answer:
Just measured it to be 6Ft. The site information (see link below) says 5Ft. They may have made it shorter some time over the last year.

Answer:
No, this should be used as a heater only. We would not recommend using it as an exhaust fan however we can not stop you from trying it. We only recommend using it for its intended purpose.

Answer:
No, there is no need for a handle on this unit. This heater is equipped with a cool touch housing unit. We have made it so that the heater will be cool to touch even after it has been on and running.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 67 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My second one - Love It This is my second one, I had the first one for about 3 years before it died. I couldn't find another one so I bought something else. Needless to say I only finished out the winter with it and now have this one. They heat up my bathroom in such a short amount of time. It is very small in size compared to the amount of work it does. Never getting anything else. February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Fan for the Bathroom The fan is just the right size for a bathroom and it mounts either on a wall or sitting on a flat surface. The controls are easy to use. The fan can be used on the timer or just left on. Plenty of output from the fan and the heating element. Great Buy February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just works Have only used it for two weeks but in 10 degree weather in a finished basement office, it needed about another 4-5 degrees. The room is about 150sqft and this little device keeps the room toasty. Set the temp up to a max 85 degrees and it automatically turns the fan on and off as needed. January 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Warm enough This heater does the job of warming up the bathroom in the mornings. January 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really pleased with this purchase This heater is good quality for the price. Compact size is good and much quieter than some I have owned. Heats a larger than average bathroom area fast. Don't use the programmable timer, but can see that it would be very convenient. February 11, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by only bathroom safe heater availabe at the time Holding up very well in the bathroom humidity. Used only 3 or 4 months out of each year. Had it for half of 2 winters now. Problems: 1. The default temperature is 85F, so if you unplug it after each use you have to reset it. For those of you who leave it plugged in this means that if you have a power failure - even a short one - the heater will try to reach 85F (scary). 2. The temperature set ring sometimes acts up. Regardless of which direction the ring is turned the temperature readout keeps moving in only one direction. To reset it so you can move the temperature setting up or down you have to unplug the unit and start over. 3. Does not appear to have an over heat shut off feature. This makes problem 1 even more scary. 4. No tip over shut off. Another model with two power settings came out shortly after we got this one. I would have gotten it if it had been available at the same time as this one. January 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by easy to install The heater was easy to mount to the wall. The heater that had been in the bathroom was mounted in the ceiling. When I researched a replacement I found out that that type of heater should not have been installed there for safety reasons, by the builders. All others I found had a mounting box that would have been larger than the original. For reasons of cost and disruption to my rental tenants I chose this type of heater. So far, they have been happy, so that makes me happy. December 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product at great price This is the 3rd one of these I have purchased in the past 15 years. I own a 100 yr old home and the bathroom is always cold no matter what. This little beauty mounts on the wall (easy-peasy) and has great temp control. On sub-zero nights it keeps the pipes from freezing and during the day it keeps us comfy when we are in the bathroom.
