With the adjustable feet screwed all the way in (minimum height) the surface is 40 - ⅞" above the floor. The feet can be extended about 2" if you need extra height.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An excellent work bench at a fair price This work bench fits in the gap between the full-bore garage organizers and the simpler no-frills sort of work bench. The regular work benches I had seen were smaller and not as sturdy, and I didn't really want to graduate to a deluxe set of metal cabinets, so this unit was just what I needed. It was delivered by freight in two boxes: one contained the locking upper cabinet, and the other everything else, which made that one quite heavy. The assembly instructions weren't very detailed, but I managed to get it put together in about 90 minutes despite not having the recommended second person to help. All of the necessary nuts and bolts were included in the exact number required. All of the holes lined up well with the threaded inserts so all the parts went together without any cross-threading or cursing. The assembled work bench is very sturdy, and the work surface is strong multi-ply plywood of unusual thickness with a glossy smooth finish. All of the metal parts are made of reasonably thick steel that should last a very long time under normal use. I especially like the height of the work surface that is just right for standing while I work. For the price, I think this unit is a great value. October 13, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy Workbench This bench is a great buy. It's rock solid, with a 1½" thick heavy plywood work top. Assembly was acceptable. I took off one star because it was missing one bolt, and the other 7 long bolts were a very poor fit with the nuts - one of them stripped before it even pulled up tight) I ended up going to Ace and getting some 5/16x2½ bolts with nuts and lock washers to put the frame together. It also took some "persuasion" to get some of the holes to line up. Once assembled, it is everything I wanted. High storage for less used items, the square hole pegboard for hanging tools (no hangers included, I bought some Triton pegboard accessories from Amazon), and the wire rack on the bottom to store my tool box and other large items. I mounted a 6" vise on the table, and tie wrapped a power strip to the edge of the pegboard, so I'm set. I'm definitely happy with the purchase. February 19, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice workbench with a tool box up top. Nice workbench with a tool box up top. Sorta tricky to put together especially the tool box on top. Some of the holes did not line up, but after a little effort with a screwdriver I got`em to line up. Be careful not to over tighten the bolts or you will loosen the anchor nut or worse crack the Chinese metal it`s made out of. I have a flux core mig welder & I will have to weld up a crack I made during assembly. I added a vise to the wood table top. I am glad I got it just a little tricky on the assembly. January 20, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Heavy-Duty, Sturdy Workbench This is a very sturdy workbench with plenty of workspace. The table top is thick, heavy, and it takes a pounding. The bench was a little more than I wanted to spend, but the cheaper workbenches I looked at weren't as sturdy, and I know this bench will last a lifetime. The only thing I don't like about the bench is that it should have some drawers for storage underneath, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very solid workbench The quality is good and it's incredibly sturdy. The adjustable feet ensure your workbench is level and stable. The instructions are a bit vague, so you have to visualize how the uprights need to be positioned or you'll find yourself flipping them around. Aside from that, it's definitely a two-person job, and a third makes mounting the cabinets easier (we used jackstands on the table top to help out in lieu of a third person). August 31, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A Good Workbench This is a well made product, and probably fair value for the money, although it is relatively expensive. It's major drawback is the lack of drawers or shelves underneath the bench.. September 5, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed Did not come with directions to install. Takes about 2 hours to put together and metal pieces were bent. Screws don't go into all holes because they are placed wrong. October 28, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy Workbench That sturdy workbench that I was looking for, a little pricey but worth what I plan on doing with it. Didn't give all stars due to the instructions were a bit weak, but pretty self explanatory. November 11, 2014
