Nice product, but it arrived dented. Not sure if it came from the warehouse that way or is UPS did it, but either way it was dented.

Well made, very secure, very fast delivery. Very pleased with purchase. Home delivery sealed the deal as I do not own any vehicle capable of transporting an item of this size.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DHK140807 Good product / Fair price
This Gun Security Cabinet seems to be a well made/designed product for a fair price. The two locks should provide extra security against pry attacks. I feel this cabinet in combination with a monitored alarm system give me a good level of protection against typical theft. I did not give this 5 stars for a few reasons. My cabinet was shipped with one of the locking plate-bars missing. I called the manufacturer to get this part but they forgot to send me the part. I had to call again and finally received the missing item. I also do not like the interior padding but this seems to be a common issue with all gun cabinets and safes

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CDL Comparison between the 1990 model and the 2015 model
I purchased this same cabinet in 1990 and back then they were made in the US. They both have the same dimensions, both inside and out. The steel seems to be of the same gauge and they both have similar locking mechanisms, however the 2015 model has an additional bar that moves into the top/bottom corner of the door when you close the locking bar, providing some additional security. The top shelf on the 2015 model is wider than the older model. This 2015 model came with plastic, adjustable barrel rests, which is a nice up grade over the cheap foam rest of the 1990, allowing you to place them at different heights for longer/shorter barrels. Other than the color (brn vs blk) they are essentially the same cabinet. Just remember, this is a locking cabinet, with NO fire protection, and it wouldn't take a thief very long to break into this cabinet. Also, lag bolts (for mounting to the wall studs) that come with this cabinet are 'junk'. I rounded the head of one, just trying to screw it into a stout, old (the way lumber use to come) stud. Go purchase 1/4" x 3" lag bolts and fender washers to match, and use them to attach the cabinet to the wall. The cheap 1/2" foam that comes with this cabinet, disintegrated in the older model, but it was only on the bottom. The new one came with a large sheet, enough to cover the bottom and the back of the cabinet (which keeps the scope from banging against the back of the cabinet).
I would recommend this cabinet, over many of the other steel cabinets on the market today.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BenZ Good Safe for the price
The safe is good for the price. Bolts in the ground or the wall. Easy installation & just takes a few minutes. The shipping was free & took about 2 business days. It has the original lock system on it & comes with 2 separate keys. I did however get another lock installed in the center for extra protection (doubt I will ever need it on there but I feel better with it. I have 2 kids & just wanted to be sure they could not get curious. All in all this safe I would recommend getting if you just need a basic safe to keep your guns/valuables away from kids or anyone else.

I bought this model in 1990 for less than a $100 and bolted it to the wall. It has survived three B&E's, but no one has ever gotten into it. Th first thief, who may have been in the house for several hours, managed to pry open the door slightly with a crowbar and pull out a scope, but no guns have ever been stolen.
I upgraded the locks after the scope theft using two hardened padlocks and hasps which solved the problem of the warped door.
