I am rejuvenating a red, clay brick barbecue. It has recently been acid washed and sealed with a brick sealer. After sealing, it has retained its natural appearance. I would like to brighten it up with a more wet look. Can this product be used for such a purpose? If not, do you have any recommendations?

Answer:
Hi John- No, this will not work for that use, or with another sealer. Unfortunately we do not have any other products but I would inquire are your local Home Depot for assistance.

Answer:
I think it would work but you will need to do a LOT of thin coats. This stuff is like water when you put it on, so it will run on the brick and could leave streaks/stains/marks if you just stained it.

Answer:
It can be used on pavers. Sand joints are generally not solid so it will not seal. Cure Seal does not prevent vegetation growth. Can be used in the snow belt, but application temperatures and weather conditions must be adhered to. Re-application depends on wear and use, usually once yearly.

Answer:
Hi Chris- Yes this can be used on slate flooring outside. Do not apply when surface or air temperature is below 50 F or above 90 F. 80 F should be fine to apply. It is ready for light traffic in 8 hours, heavy traffic in 24 hours.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 29 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent results The product was easy to apply and the results look nice. Preparation is a key step. I used this product on both a brick patio and also a sta,led concrete driveway. I don't understand the comments in other reviews -- my experience is that the product definitely has a glossy/shiny finish! July 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lots of thin coats Not giving it 5 stars yet until I can vouch for the durability of it- I was using the EAGLE sealer for my project and ran out. Went to Depot and found this stuff on the shelf. It was Clearance $8 from $24 so i was skeptical. Bought one anyways and applied 3 thin coats to my freshly stained concrete basement floor. I stated seeing results I liked so I purchased another gallon. 6 coats later the floor just looks awesome, like glass. I used a coat of floor wax on top and it looks great. Question is how long will it last. If it looks this good in April I'll be using it on my garage floor. The key is lots of prep work, I also use that Eagle Acid Neutralizer/Degreaser before applying this. The floor was 40+ years old but I cleaned it with TSP. Did not ETCH or use Muratic. Used Eagle ACID Stain. November 9, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NOT for garage, carport, or driveway applications. Contrary to what the company states. This product absorbs tire compounds and leaves 4 perfect tire tread stains anywhere the vehicle is parked for extended periods. And the stains require substantial scrubbing to remove. This completely defeats the purpose of sealing these areas. A terrible waste of time and expense. September 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GOOD PRODUCT GREAT PRODUCT AND USE IT EVERY YEAR ON WALLS AND ROCKS TO CURE BEFORE THE WINTER. October 27, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good product Product stops water from freezing on brick which eliminates the brick from falling off walls and fireplace caps. I paint on each fall to protect my brick. October 13, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty Good I bought this in a pinch. Already pressure washed my stamped patio and Home Depot only had this and Behr. I pressure washed, let dry 24 hrs, blew off with leaf vac, then applied sealer. I used a 3/4 inch nap roller and only applied one coat. Product dried crystal clear with nice gloss look. For the price I'm very pleased. Hasn't been long enough to give 5 stars. September 17, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Barely noticeable Put on two coats with a pump sprayer and you can barely tell there is any coating on there at all. Followed directions exactly and even went a little heavier with second coat. Not impressed. Didn't give me the look I wanted. I guess you get what you pay for... which in this case is not much. August 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Save your time and money, purchace a different product Product states wet look gloss finish. After pressure washing my stamped concrete patio I applied two coats of the sealer. Still did not have a nice finish. Purchased more sealer. After four coats of sealer I still do not have a glossy wet look. Most of the patio still has a dull finish. Save your money. buy a product that works. After cleaning and pressure washing you deserve a nice finished result. You cannot obtain it with this product. June 25, 2015
