With an oil-based, heavy-bodied formula and an ultra-fast drying time, the Homax Products 10 oz. Aerosol Spray Texture provides quick and easy patching for splatter and orange-peel drywall textures. The adjustable nozzle offers a range of texture patterns between fine and heavy. Provides an invisible repair to match the exact texture applied without the use of tools, hopper gun and compressor or calling in a sub. Coverage depends on application: heavy orange peel covers up to 25 sq. ft.; medium orange peel covers up to 35 sq. ft.; fine orange peel covers up to 50 sq. ft. Answer: 
For best knockdown results, use the Homax Knockdown Spray Texture. But a heavy Orange Peel Texture can be lightly knocked down, it will just be smaller texture. You can sand the texture very lightly before painting but be careful not to remove too much texture.

On the finest setting, you can get up to 50 sq. ft. of coverage from the 10oz cans.

Shower nozzle came loose, sprayed upward and washed some of the popcorn stucco off the ceiling.

Answer: 
For best results, we recommend using the Aerosol Popcorn Ceiling Texture to patch your popcorn ceiling above your shower. We don't recommend using the Orange Peel Wall Texture - it will not spray on the ceiling or match your existing popcorn texture.

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, with any texture you need to prime first so the texture doesnt soak into the wall.
