I would also prime afterwards if you are using a brush...after a couple passes with a brush the texture starts to flatten. use a roller for everything if you can.
also, other instructions that are not on the can- - - place the can in warm water to get it up to temp and shake the can until you hear the rattle or until you pass out, whichever comes first. this will ensure there's enough pressure in the can to dispense the product properly.

No, the product sprays right on any previous finish. I would recommend a primer only if the wall is completely unfinished and has never been painted previously.

Answer:
Yes, priming helps the texture to stick to painted walls and keeps bare drywall from wicking all of the moisture out of the texture.

We just wiped the area of the ceiling we were repairing with a damp cloth before we used the product. Since it dried in a shade that was so close to the paint finish on our ceiling, we haven't painted it however I suspect you can paint directly onto it once it is dry.

Answer:
Yes, with no need to prime or anything for texture adhesion. Depending on what the wall looks like after you finish removing the wallpaper, you may need to patch things up/ smooth it out a little first. If texture is applied heavily, starting surface imperfections (light scratches, bits of wallpaper, etc.) will be of little concern.

Answer:
Yes you can. You will need to remove the glue left on the wall following the removal of the wallpaper. Prepare the wall for the best results, check out the video series below, you will have no doubts about the process after watching Russ. There are five parts to the series each 8 to 15 minutes. Enjoy!

You should wait until the surface is dry and no longer cool to the touch plus about 1 hour for optimal paint adhesion.

Answer:
Allow to dry 30 minutes before painting. Heavier textures may require longer dry time, dependent upon temperature and humidity.

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 88 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Could get it to spray Had problems with it spraying properly from the can. Ended up getting another kind from another store. October 18, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by spray texture it didn't work as easy as it states. I wouldn't buy again October 11, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ok Had to spray onto a spatula than spread it. One can just dribbled the other one put out but had to clean nozzle every squirt. So I just dribbled onto a spatula and spread it on. Great product easier too use than self mix. Just wish spray was more consistent. I would not use this for large jobs. Larger can is a plus. October 16, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hit and miss This stuff really does work great if you get a good can. I have purchased this product numerous times and it just seems hit and miss. Some times the cans will spray properly and some of them just wont and have to be returned to the store, but when you get a good can of the stuff it works great. I like to keep some around the house for dry wall repairs. This is not a product for professional repairs, but its good to have around the house. Ive used it so much over the years that I have pretty much mastered using it to where you just cant tell where I repaired the drywall once its painted. When you first purchase Id recommend grabbing a piece of cardboard an devote at least half a can of this stuff to practicing getting the texture right. Once you have it down its a breeze to use and you will thank yourself because your drywall repairs will look that much better. I gave this stuff 3 stars because its just so hit and miss. Not in a way that you will ruin your repair. Just seems like some cans spray properly and some dont. To me that is a good enough reason to take 2 stars because who wants to stop in the middle of a job they are doing to go back to the store and exchange a product. Never the less it is a good product to use when the can actually spray and it is invaluable for homeowners or renters who need to make quick repairs on textured walls. October 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good coverage Provides good coverage and consistent look. Better than less expensive products October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Texture in a can This product wirked very well for me. It is for small areas and the ability to change the pressure and amount of texture coming from the can really works. Just start light and increase to your needs. September 20, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Texture Arat Worked ok, but it will not cover 100 sq ft as stated on the can. September 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Trigger is JUNK I've used orange peel texture from a can before, but never had trouble like I did with these cans. The trigger would work the first couple of squeezes and then just stop functioning completely. The first can I got about half used and thought the thing just ran out of pressure, so I returned it and as defective and got another. The second can did exactly the same thing. Funniest part of it was when trying to get it to work, all the sudden it would start spraying but then wouldn't stop until I started smacking it on my hand. Sprayed all over everything!
