I have had these in my yard for four years. It was a little harder to assemble than expected. However, it was not as hard as other reviewers seem to make it out to be. The lights work great and look amazing in the yard. I only purchased a few in the beginning. Once I saw them up, I decided to go back and get more so they will go all the way around the yard. I have not had any issues with the lights and am very pleased with the way it looks. All of the neighborhood children love them and stop by to tell me this each year.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Alah Looks great but quality and assembly an issue
We love the look of these, but quality is an issue purchased 3 boxes all had broken parts. The bulb covers snap together only after a struggle. The lights are spaced 1 foot apart so the length listed on the box is a bit misleading. I went back to purchase 2 more boxes and had a manager help assemble b4 I left the store he was amazed how hard it was to snap the covers together without them breaking

These lights look awesome once they are assembled - they shine brightly and the colors are very vibrant. However, the "bulbs" are a 2-piece shell that are almost impossible to snap together. I purchased 40 of them and of the 40 only 3 snapped together just with the pressure of my hand. The rest had to be pounded with a rubber mallet and many of the snap connections broke. One customer said silicon lubricant worked. Wish I had thought of that. What I ended up doing was getting a pair of wire cutters and snipping off all of the snap pegs (they cut very easily) and then using Loctite Stik'n Seal Outdoor Adhesive to glue the halves together. That was much easier than trying to snap them, although you have to wait 24 for the glue to cure. Bottom line, if you don't mind putting forth some effort to assemble them, you will probably be happy with they way these giant lights look when you're done.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TreeMan Color splash for our Christmas display
These large colorful plastic lights were the perfect addition to our Christmas display. We bunched them together, then hung them upside down for a chandelier effect in a large decorated tree in our yard. They seem versatile enough to use in multiple ways...if they continue to work when pulled out again...
Nothing fancy. You get what you pay for. They are cheap, Made in China, DYI with easy instructions. As previous posters have stated: the clips don't match up perfectly. You have to jiggle and force. I cracked a few, but they still worked for their intended purpose. No complaints. I knew when I ordered them that they were not high quality.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shannon So cute!
Love these. So cute and vibrant. After reading the not so positive reviews, I made sure to open the package and put the lights together as soon as I received it to make sure everything was okay. I will definitely agree that the quality of the way these are made is not the best. The two sides of the plastic bulb do not fit together snugly. Not wanting to risk breaking them as others mentioned by forcing them together, we sprayed a little silicone lubricant spray onto the parts that are to connect and they slid right on. Should you have to do this on a quality product, NO! It is disappointing that the quality isn't better but to me for the price and how cute they are it was worth the little extra effort.

Great lights however bulbs were not made to the best standards. What I mean is the bulbs where hard to put together. They snap together but the pegs were to big for the holes. Very hard to snap together. If you forced them the plastic would crack or break. First couple of boxes we bought the blue bulbs where broke. With a little southern engineering we made them work. Will buy another box in hope they are better made. But they look great at night. Had several compliments. Just wish the assembly was better made.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by msix Great look!
I purchased eight (8) sets of these to line both sides of our sidewalk leading to our front door. Out of the eight sets I purchased, I had to return three (3) due to cracked lenses. The hardest part of dealing with these pathway lights is getting the two (2) lenses to snap together. There are five (5) color, each having two sections. It took a lot of strength to get them to snap together. Some of them I had to put on the carpet and put all 195 lbs of my weight into to get them to snap together. For some of the others, I actually used a small file that I had to file away the troublesome bits of excess plastic left behind from the mould-pouring process. Aside from the assembly issues, the lights look great and are conversation piece for my neighbors and drivers.

Bought 5 sets of these lights and I like the look of them but the plastic lens was very cheaply made and several were obviously returned for breaking seeing how I ended up with them
