We lost our beloved 9 year old golden retriever, BELLA, due to cancer in October. Only 3 weeks after being diagnosed. She and her younger sister were loved all throughout our neighborhood. Going on daily walks everybody knew her name,so when we came across the grapevine dog at Home Depot our thought was she would be our holiday yard Christmas decoration in memory of our love for her. We attached angel wings to the back so she would be our "Angel Dog" along with her name tag and a Christmas collar. Once our neighbors saw what we had done they shared sad tears with us. She will become a permanent angel in our yard and memories to have of her every year at this holiday season.

I am on year 2 with this dog .. the one I bought last year is the same dog, but came with a Santa hat; and he's held up well for being outside between Thanksgiving & Christmas, and being rained-on on numerous occasions. He is easy to assemble, but is *easier* with 2 sets of hands :) The only con I see with these guys are that they are large and a challenge to store given that they would be a nuisance to dis-assemble and re-assemble every year (+ you'd need to buy more tie-wraps).

Friends, family & neighbors love it and so do we. What fun to have a Lab in the house AND the front yard. Love it.

We love the dog decorations because we live in Florida and the snowmen and such are pretty boring. We have 12 of the older dog decorations and they have red caps which we like better. We suggest that LED lights be used on the next generation of this decoration to make it even better.

This dog is so adorable and nicely lights up our deck outside of our kitchen. It is a nice addition to our holiday light display.
