Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by rahlquist Nice product, box is inaccurate though. They do not "Flash"
Picked these up for a wreath. They work well and have some nice features like the 6/18 timer, the color shift, and the battery pack being disconnectable. The box states you have a choice of;
Flashing Warm White
Thats not what the product offers though. It offers;
Warm Whit timer
Color Change timer
While the color change shifts each bulb from white to one of 4 other colors (each bulb is white and has one other color) it does not offer flashing as the box stated. Other than that inaccuracy its a nice product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amm01 Used for last 2 years, still working!
We bought 2 strings for the railing on our front porch. The lights have held up well, they can switch between white or multicolor, solid color or blinking. I like that they have the ability to auto turn on/off each day too. Once I set them they are good for the season. I switch out new batteries each year and so far they have lasted for a full month for the last 2 holiday seasons. My only wish is that the lights were a bigger size.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rocketman262 The best battery Christmas lights for outdoor use.
I use these on my mail box and on several small trees in my yard. I use them where it would be difficult to get regular lights plugged into an extension cord.
They are bright and look light regular 110V led Christmas bulbs. I switch them to the constant on color mode and the timer turns them on everyday at dusk. I have found a set of batteries will last for two seasons.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MountainHomeOwner Great alternative to extension cords
People have been telling me I should put lights on a driveway metal railing for years, but I didn't want to run extension cords down and across my driveway, and then have to worry about damaging them during snow removal. These lights have been a perfect solution. They are about 17 feet long (one is about 6 inches longer then the other), and have a control box on one end (mounted to the left post in the picture). The control box has two compartments sealed with gaskets, one for the 3 D size batteries and one for the weather proof switches. One switch controls the light color (I only used the multicolor after verifying both worked), and one is the on/off/timer switch. The timer option turns the lights on for about 6 hours, then off for 18 hours. The duration can't be changed, but 6 hours is a good fixed duration. The lights have been installed for about 3 weeks, through light rain, snow, wind, and temperatures between 10 and 50 degrees F. I would prefer using the more common rechargeable AA size batteries, but it looks like the D size alkalies will last at least one season. Changing batteries in very cold weather could be a hassle, the screws to the battery cover stay on the cover, but the small nuts can easily fall off the box. The gaskets may need to be reinstalled so they aren't twisted, and may work better with a light grease used for underwater camera cases. Overall a great product for the price.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by GardenJ Doesn't Flash Warm White
I bought the lights for use on an small outdoor tree. I've had them only a day so can't comment on durability. They seem well-made, solid, and able to withstand rain and weather. Most disappointing though is that they don't flash warm white only. The box says "Choose Your Color: Warm White, Multi, or Flashing Warm White to Flashing Multi." In reality though, the unit has only three settings: Warm White, Multi, and Flashing. "Flashing" mode is a hot mess of warm white and multi flashing all at once. I think the box is deceiving, if not inaccurate. It's a shame, because it's hard to find battery-operated lights for outdoor use.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GardenJ Worked Well
I wrote another review just after I bought the lights; I was disappointed the lights didn't flash white only.. I've used them now for about a month. They ran six hours per day in some very cold (teens and single digits) and wet weather. The lights performed like a champ, and the batteries are still going strong after thirty days. They're bright - can be seen easily from the street - and are a soft white color, like an incandescent. The waterproof battery housing is well-made and though I wrapped it in a plastic bag I probably wouldn't have needed to do so. Overall, this is a good value - the best outdoor battery-operated lights I've seen.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ChristmasLights Finally got it working right
I ordered 2 sets of these lights to put on a small shrub. The timer function/switch took a while to start working correctly. The first two night I put them on the timer did not work. The lights were on in the morning. Finally the third night I tried it worked and the lights went off after 6 hours.

We used these lights for our holiday card and as decorations for our house. They are beautiful and work very well.
