After 20+ years of fresh cut Christmas trees, we decided to switch to fake, but a whimsical fake, not a phony fake. We had a green wire tree like this one but it conked out after about 5 years. Fortunately we found this white one. It is easily to unpack, set up, and pack up. Worked right out of the box. Some people think we're nuts having this tree, but we call it our Ironic Tree and have a lot of fun with it. Plus the cat doesn't attack it!

I love this tree. I have it outdoors and it looks great. Easy to assemble and very colorful.

I have purchased 6 of these over that last 3 years and had to throw 2 away after Christmas 2013. Now, while prepping the other 4 I had left for this Christmas, 2014, I now have to throw another one in the trash because the top section of lights do not work, and have no replacement bulbs. All of the trees started rusting and the wiring clips are all breaking so the lights just dangle. Got some plastic wire ties to take care of that problem. At $70 a pop, these things should last longer than a year or two. Very disappointed with this item. WILL NOT buy again.

I am giving this a one star because I set this tree up thanksgiving weekend and three weeks later the tree did not light up. I replaced the fuses and that did not make the tree light ok so I can a only assume the transformer stopped working which is why the tree will not light up. Looked good while it worked but what good is this decoration if you are only going to get three weeks to enjoy it! I did not have the receipt so I could not get a refund for this item.

The tree I received does not change colors and appears to have been used and returned as the stand has rust on it. I will most likely return it. Very disappointed in this tree.

Lasted one Christmas season and a couple of weeks into the 2012 Christmas season. 2011 when I bought it it worked and looked great. Plugged it in 2012, it still worked and looked great. After a few days of rain, it slowly started dying out and now doesn't work at all. At no time was any part of the tree or electrical connections sitting in puddles of water. For $70 this thing should give me more then 1 full Christmas season. No mfgr. warranty. Only 90 day return policy. It's too bad, because like I said when it worked it looked really nice.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Maggie Flimsy, cheap, broken and covered in rust!!!
This tree is impossible to put together brand new let alone one that is used and broken down and rusty right out of the package!!! I ordered this tree because the one we had from a different maker quit working right in the middle of the holiday season. Days before Christmas actually!! So I ordered this one from Homedepot and paid the ridiculous extra shipping to get to our home in time. However, when it arrived it was a mess. The tips on the stand were missing and the stand was all rusty. Even the cord was rusty!!! The rust was so bad that it was collecting in these small bags that were tied around the feet of the tree stand. The tree itself was impossible to put up because it was missing parts too. However, even if the tree had arrived brand new with all its proper peices, it would still be miserable to try and put together. It is made poorly and missing lights on some branches. The metal is weak and flimsy and bends very easily. In fact when putting the tree up and arranging the branches so they look right, one of the smaller branches at the top of the tree just fell right off in my hands!! And I was being very careful because I was afraid that would happen!! We will be returning this item and demanding our expedited shipping charge to be refunded also!!'

Bought this for the 2012 season, the first bit of rain we had it went dim and stopped working. Thought it was a fuse, only came with one spare fuse. So I waited until I took it down for the season, bought a pack of fuses and replaced them, still didn't work. Because I was lazy and waited to try and fix it i could not return it to the store, my bad. So, I took apart the control module to find the circuit board had failed when it got wet (poor sealant used by the manufacturer). Based on the number of posts outdoor use has a very high failure rate. Good product if you use it indoors only. Cannot find a replacement module anywhere :( So its either direct wire it and properly seal/waterproof it or trash it (80 bucks down the toilet). Save your money if the intent is to use it outdoors.
