Answer:
maybe indoors, but if it is going to be outside subjected to breezes and/or windy conditions, it needs to be secured by using the anchors provided and supplemented by wiring it to something substantial.

Answer:
I would suggest using the stakes that come with it. Otherwise, it will be flimsy and subject to fall in the wind.

Answer:
It does have a base but becomes front heavy when assembled so I would definitely recommend using the metal stakes included or garden stakes.

Our store was out so we ordered it on line which is nice because the box would not have fit into our car.

Answer:
You have to go store by store, some received none. I had to ask the store manager to track one down for me. An hour later of driving, I was able to by the only one in a 30 mile radius here in Texas..

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 6 ft. pre-lit tinsel natiity scene and lighted angel Received many compliments for this Christmas yard art. It really has the quality of art. It lights up well and has been durable with the weather. December 30, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointing We bought this Nativity last year, it was the only one left, the display model, when we got it to purchase, there was no box, so the people that helped us, were going to bring us some zip ties to help put it together. Needless to say they never came back to help us. We put it together and used it one Christmas, last year. This year it wouldn't light up at all. Tracing the lines showed there was a current but it wouldn't light up, and due to the material covering the lights there was no way to replace any bulbs without cutting holes in it. Very disappointed in the product and Home Depot. January 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful We purchased this set as a replacement for the manger scene we had for 13 years as it had seen better days. It was very easy to set up and take down and looked great both day and night. We did use extra stakes to secure it as we do tend to get some pretty strong winds in December. It held up perfectly even with 60MPH gusts. Never fell over or got damaged. Looking forward to putting it up again next Christmas! January 20, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful; requires extra reinforcements in some climates I've received so many compliments on this beautiful display. It is especially beautiful at night and can be seen from far away. The only reason I took off a star is because this product will not last on its own in harsher climates. I live in East Chicago (at the southwest corner of Lake Michigan) so I also purchased 2 six-foot tomato stakes (beat 1.5 ft in the ground) and zip ties and used about 10 garden pins in the ground. Even this could not withstand 30 mph winds/ heavy rain, so I used sturdy rope to hold the figures together during the tough weather days and also placed 4 bricks on top of the base. During rainy days I also covered the product in a plastic paint sheet. Long story short, extra maintenance is required in some climates but the beautiful display makes it well worth the work. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by stylish Nativity scene I bought this lighted Nativity scene just before Christmas. It was a breeze to set up. Speaking of breeze, we had some very gusty windy weather and we discovered the item had fallen over. Fearing it may have been broken or damaged, we were happy to find that it was not. We had anchored it using the anchors provided, which proved to be insufficient for a NH winter wind. So if you buy it, be prepared to tie it off to something stable or permanent, in addition to anchoring it in the ground. January 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good method of having a nativity. This item provides SOMETHING of the Christmas spirit. At least it shows a suggestion of the Birth of Christ. The whole thing goes together without great difficulty. I would not say it will last for years but we'll see. It looks really good at night, as it lights up from inside. There again I have no idea how long the lights inside will last and there will be no replacing them. I had to do some re-enforcement to connections and ad something to straighten and stiffen the staff. We have had many compliments on it's appearance though and I've already decided when it goes I'm going to use it as a model for making one out of plywood. Overall, it cost about $80 and you get what you pay for. It definitely beats one of those air powered blow up things and it is a nativity. December 22, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 6 Ft. Pre-lit tinsel nativity scene We set up our nativity scene this past weekend and it looks beautiful. The instructions were not the best but it was easy to figure out. I also added more plastic ties. I also bought the lighted grapevine angel and put it right by the nativity scene and the two together looks great! I live in Ohio and haven't had any bad weather yet, curious to see if it holds up to wind and snow. I've also noticed cars and people walking by and slowing down to view these outdoor ornaments. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty Good size for a yard display. Lights up well. Assembly is a bit challenging. Some of the pins had to be bent a little for alignment. Since everything is mostly connected with the light wires, 2 people are needed to assemble. The directions are not exactly right but a little common sense and the picture helped. Should use a few more cable ties than called for to make certain it is sturdy for winds. December 8, 2015
