It came quick and was a breeze to assemble. The head moves appropriately. This is the second one we have owned. We also have the doe. Her head does not move as much as I expected. The lights died on the first ones but we have a flood light on it as our herd grows.

We have bought 3 sets (bucks & does) of these over the past 12 years because they look so much better than the bright white cheap plastic lighted versions. The grapevine constuction is fine; however, every set we've purchased has had issues with the lights. Obviously, I'm a slow learner. Unless you're an electrician or don't mind the lights failing beyond repair- buyer beware.

I love the look of these and replaced mine from last year. Set up/assembly was easy and it looked beautiful for exactly one week - then all of the lights on the neck and head went out. I tried changing the fuse, jiggling all the lights - but let's face it, who has the time to go through pulling out each individual tiny light to see which is the culprit? They should all stay on even if one goes out.
I will try to return/exchange but no longer have the box. SUPER disappointed after only one week. Next purchase will be the much more expensive kind that will actually LAST.

Ibought two deer and loved them for the first night - during which the lights worked. On the second night, half of the lights on one deer went out (not a problem with bulbs or the fuse). After some poking around, they came back on. The third night the lights on the head, body and one set of legs went out on deer number two (also not a bulb or fuse problem). I have been unable to get these lights to work. The deer can't be exchanged as the store does not have any more in stock and are not ordering any more and I didn't keep the receipt - my bad. I am just disappointed that the deer are not a better value for the price paid. I am going to remove all the lights and purchase and attach a new set of lights as the deer forms are really nice.

We bought this and put it together, Everything worked except the lights in the neck/head. I have followed all of the wires and everything looks fine. Absolutely no reason the lights don't work. For the price, this should not be like this at all. I'm very disappointed.

I have to replace my lawn ornaments about every 3 Christmases, and this was the year for the buck. I got it on sale for $79, vs $100+ at most other outlets. It assembled pretty much according to the directions, except for the ears--no way those buggers would go on, so I wedged them between the antlers and they've held so far. Also, this animation motor seems a little more robust than past models. That just leaves the lights, which we'll have to wait and see about.

I purchased 2 of these antlered reindeer, they were pricey but looked nice. I had to disassemble the lights on both to light up all the parts and on the 3rd night half of one reindeer went dark. It took me over 3 hours to entirely remove all the light, find the bad socket, cut the socket out of the circuit and reinstall the lights. It now seems to be working but buyer beware - I'm an electrician and the only way I found the problem was with a tic tracer

I've wanted this Deer for a long time and hoped it would go on sale. waited as long as I could and had to get it. My family made fun of it until it was sitting in the yard under the trees. It was so pretty and fun. My grand kids and kids alike love it and were sad to see it stored for next year.
So easy to assemble and take a part to store. Fit right back in the box. I suggest this product for anyone, it's not just a grandma thing. Can't wait until next year it'll be the first decoration out.
