Our kids like trains so this was a win/win as far as a yard Christmas decoration. It was easy to assemble and works great. The only negative thing I can say is you would have to disassemble it for it to fit back in the box. It is put together, by you, with some plastic zip ties. This isnt that big of an issue but it may be to some people.

Plan to be a little patient putting it together but it is cute as can be and bigger than I expected. Our ground is rain soaked so a few extra ground stakes were necessary because the ones that came with it are very thin. Should be fairly easy to store since the cars can be flattened.

Train was easy to assemble. It has been outside in really bad weather (especially the wind) so all I did was, besides using the anchors in the ground I tied the engine to my tree. Has held up well. All the little kids in the neighborhood love it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by dspayne Its not that hard to assemble and really cute.
I don't leave as much feedback as I should considering I read it in determining a lot of purchases so I wanted to write and respond on this to be fair to Santa and his train after reading the first review left because I did not have the same experience. The only "tricky" part about assembling is look at the present in the middle car, it has a frame inside and folds out to make a 3 dimensional present and it lines up with the mounting holes. Aside from the medal loops they give you for ties, poke a few extra zip ties in areas of seams carefully through the edge of the fabric around the wire structure and you can make this very sturdy and well aligned. Yes this may take you an hour to assemble but worth it and it looks fantastic. Look more at the picture on the box and not instructions. Those are always hard to see and read for these types of things. To sturdy it up, I also took 6 2 foot 1x2 pieces of wood and ran them perpendicular under the holes used for staking to ground and stapled them to the wood instead, This gives a great steady free standing platform that is holding in the wind without issues and the train is straight. I am giving a 4 on quality based on nothing is made as good as it should anymore and I wish it was LED but for the $100 it is a good value compared to a lot of decorations out there.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by DaGrinch It's ok, but...
The structural elements are just a bit thicker gauge than clothes hangers. The instructions are minimal so build time is 10-20 minutes. The anchoring stakes don't grip well so minimal wind will knock the train over. I had to re-position it every day just about. Buy tent stakes if you want to secure it well. I did get a compliment from a neighbor that his toddler son liked the display.
Overall, not worth the $99 bucks.

Easy to assemble. Lights up well. Looks good on the lawn. Ground stakes are small and flimsy. The decoration is easily knocked over by strong winds.

The product was missing pieces and was difficult to put together. It was not worth the purchase price.
