Screws were too long. Had to saw each so light wouldn't dangle off wall. Plan to replace shades. Cheap looking. The lights once placed brighten up the room well; and because of our placement are great for reading and sewing.

This light looks great on either side of our king size bed. Other lights that we tried were too small. Assembly was straight forward, and instructions were easy to follow.
Other reviews have mentioned that the arms are stiff to move. I worked them before installing and sprayed a small amount of WD40 at the joints. They now operate smoothly.
Other reviewers have commented on the discrepancy between the online photo and the actual product. We purchased the "oil-rubbed" edition. I would describe it more as "brown-paint". The lamp is still attractive but more as an accessory to your other decor rather than a centerpiece. The shades are a shiny white, and the lamps provide excellent reading light.

Overall am happy with this product. It has a nice classic shape. Two things I was disappointed about: the shade is kind of tacky in the fact it is very shiny, and NOT white it is off-white. I very much so wish this shade had a linen finish or something so it wasn't so cheap looking. Will have to take additional steps to find another shade or take the take to recover it myself. Also, just noticing that it says the cord cover does not come with the lamp. I thought it did since it is pictured with a cord cover so another step to take prior to install. Overall like the shape and the cost was reasonable so going to keep.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by HeatherandMike Affordable, looks good, but a little wobbly
This is a nice-looking lamp for a great price--it's just what we were looking for and it's waaaay cheaper than the only other lamps we liked out there (at places that have the initials CaB and PB). That said, the workmanship is pretty poor. You get what you pay for, I guess. The gold shade material doesn't entirely cover (or cover evenly) the white shade base. In addition, the little caps they give you to tighten down the wall cover onto the base don't have enough threads to firmly attach it to the wall. Ours were both a little cock-eyed until my husband did some tinkering (and replacing of screws, I think) to make them work.

I got these lamps a while ago,but just got them installed in my bedroom about a week ago and they are absolutely beautiful! I really like the fact that because they are hung on the wall above my nightstand they don't take up any space on the top of the n-stand. This leaves more room for other things without it looking cluttered, and the bulbs are three way so it is easy to read without disturbing my husband, another nice thing about them is the fact that you can move the lamp into different positions which also comes in very handy, they are beautiful,as well as very useful, I would like to add them to other rooms in the future. The cord covers also hide the cords hanging against the wall, which helps to make it look very neat and tidy.

This is a very nice lamp at an exceptional price. It works, has three light settings and the light switch is not stiff or hard to turn. On top two settings, it lights our room better than our ceiling fan which has two 40-watt bulbs. Easy to install although I think my husband opted for some sturdier wall anchors. The lampshade has a slight sheen to it and was bigger than I expected but overall the two lamps we ordered fit nicely in our small bedroom. Great substitution for other pricey lamps sold by competitors.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by skrouse1 Expensive look for the price, but be cautioned...
Great look, although I ultimately painted mine gold. Also great price; but you get what you pay for, and this lamp is no exception. We mounted our lamps as plug-ins (not wall mounts) and found the backplate screws were 1/8" too long which kept us from getting a snug fit to the wall. We had to retrofit the screws to make it work which was a lot of effort/time spent. Something we did? IDK... If you're handy, go for it. If not, you may want to consider another lamp.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JennOgle Pretty lamps!
These are very nice lamps and easy to put together and install PROVIDING you don't try to use the worthless wall anchors that come with them. Those plastic anchors are a joke! There is nothing to prevent them from falling back inside the wall. Fortunately I had some good anchors at hand and thus far I've been pleased with the mobility and look of these lamps. Also, one of the two lamps seems to be having a problem switching between all 3 levels of lighting at least half the time - might be a short somewhere?
