Does Home Depot sell hardware that recently came off of my vertical blinds? The part is a long 'string" of tiny metal balls that open and close the vertical blinds when gently pulled on. This part hangs from the top along with another cord (cotton) which when gently pulled on moves the verticals from fully open to fully closed.
Asked by: veryunhandy2
Home Depot does not carry those parts for blinds, other than hanging brackets, or wind up holders. There's too many manufacturers, makes and models to carry a good selection. Your best bet is to replace the blind or somehow make your own or cannibalize from another not in-use blind. Best place to find parts is googling the manufacturers' blinds.

2 in. Faux Wood Blind Replacement Brackets is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Barely adequate I had two sets of 2" faux wood blinds in storage that I had picked up on clearance. I finally decided to install them, but one set was missing the hardware so I ordered these. They were far inferior quality to the original hardware. They are almost too shallow of a depth for the headrail, and they're much narrower. The locking mechanism on these closes down and seems flimsy. The originals close outboard to inboard, lock top and bottom, and seem much more secure. These worked in a pinch, but I'm going to research the nice ones that match the original (meanwhile hoping my blinds stay put.) Just a word of caution, in case your blinds didn't come from Home Depot, these might not work so well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from wish they carried more than just white Needed brackets for dark colored blinds - they only carry white. Didn't have time to go online or shop at another hardware store to get darker brackets so I spray painted these and they turned out fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Position of the holes for the screws were exactly what I needed I purchased several 2" Faux Wood Blinds, but the brackets included in the kit did not fit my needs for an inside mount. The screw holes were too far out, but these brackets were perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT! So glad to find they make universal brackets. We bought what we thought was a new blind from the local resale shop only to find it did not have hardware. So these really saved us! Worked great, easy to use and best of all no patch job!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as it should This is a metal bracket. Apparently newer brackets will be made of plastic so get this while you still can.
