The directions included are different from the ones posted online. The paper directions with the shelves recommended 1/4" drill bit for the anchors, and the anchors don't fit. The online directions say 9/32" which ended up being the correct size. The shelves sagged when finally installed as if they were too heavy for the way they are mounted. I'll only ever buy shelves that are mounted with brackets from now own. I had to buy a bracket for this shelve. I would have returned them but I already drilled holes in my wall. Piece of junk. Don't buy it.

Just what we wanted. Wish they offered in a longer size.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by toohandy Too lightweight, supplied screws are very low quality, wrong type for anchors.
The shelf is very lightweight, 1/8" painted/coated fiberboard over a wood skeleton. The screws supplied are very poor quality, soft, and break easily even with a pilot hole drilled. Also the shank of the screws is such that if you use the toggler style plastic wall anchors, the screw will lose grip as it gets flush because the unthreaded shank of the screw will have penetrated to the back of the plastic anchor. I used some appropriate sheet metal screws instead.

I bought three of these for a bathroom makeover...two of the shelves drop about 3/8" to the front over their 8" width. They're mounted properly. The problem is that the rods the shelf slides onto are much smaller diameter than the holes in the shelf. The tip of the rod doesn't seem to have any support once inside the shelf, and the screws that secure the shelf to the bracket are much smaller (#8 or so) than the hole in the rod (~3/16"). Their purpose is just to prevent the shelf from sliding forward off of the brackets, not to stabilize the shelf in any way. I can wiggle the shelves up and down, side to side, and any other which way I want. I plan to fix this by either shimming the mounting bracket with some thin wood or placing something on the end of the rod to thicken it. Maybe some vinyl tube would do the trick.
Don't buy these shelves.

Bought three shelves for my bathroom. Install was easy enough, but one of them sags terribly. All three have black scuffs, and one had a big blob of what I'm assuming is dried paint.

Difficult to hang - nearly impossible to get straight. Luckily this will be used in a nursery and won't need to hold a significant amount of weight.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by FlyingScot It works well but does not look good
Shelf and supporting bracket are made of inexpensive materials. The overall look (and feel) is of very low quality. I would not buy again or recommend to others unless the intended use is for a location like a laundry room or garage.
