What is the height of the cabinet feet; and can it be used without attaching the feet?

Asked by: Onenameonly
The Cabinet 52.5 inches high, and the feet you have to attach during the installation. I like the feet on the Cabinet but the way it is constructed you could use something else if you a handy person. I personally think the feet protect the bottom/floor of the Cabinet.

Exactly how wide are these doors?

I have 25" of space between the wall against which this cabinet will be placed and the side of a sink. So if the cabinet is 14" deep (I'm assuming that measurement includes the architectural moulding at top and bottom, which means the actual box is probably 13" deep and 23" or 24" wide) then that means the doors must be 12" wide or less *including the hinge* or they will strike the sink and be incapable of opening fully. So: *exactly* how wide is each of these doors?
Asked by: scaryblondechick
The doors are each 10-1/2" wide, including the hinge. There are two strips of wood on the outer side edges of the piece that are about 9/16" each. You should be able to open the doors all the way without striking the sink. The widest part of the piece is at the top, which is 25-1/8", which should be okay since your sink is below that level.

I read about the smell from other reviews so I wasn't surprised but it really is a terrible chemical smell. The closet has been open and out of the box for 3 days now, and the room still reeks of the smell. I'm more disappointed in the quality of this piece. With all the screws tightened it still sways from side to side. The directions could also be more clear for an easier assembly. If I didn't have to take the whole thing apart, re-package and ship back - I would return this item. Not worth the $$. I hope it eventually airs out so I can use it for it's intended purpose of holding my bathroom towels.

It has an awful smell so I can't put my towels in it like I had intended to. It has been assembled for 3 weeks now. The directions could be better as well. I thought once it was all put together it would not sway but that is not the case.I would return this product if I could....

All four doors had scuffs or nicks in them out of the box. Feels cheap when assembled - wobbles to and fro. For $200 I would have expected something a little bit better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect This cabinet is perfect for my small space. As other reviewers have mentioned, it does have a paint or chemical smell but I only notice it when it is open. Guests who have seen it have all said they liked it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good, but moderate material quality We are using it in the kitchen for a storage pantry and it looks nice and serves our purpose well, but does not appear to have very durable materials. The doors and possibly the top and base might be wood, but the sides, back and shelves are definitely particle board/manufactured wood. It looks nice, but I am not sure it's going to be a lasting piece in our home. It doesn't seem super durable. The finish got a few marks on it just from the screws rubbing briefly on the painted surface when the two glass doors were momentarily propped against each other during assembly. A magic eraser should take care of these scuffs. Assembly is a bit precarious as the side walls are very unsteady and are only held on with 4 screws at the bottom and nothing else to keep them upright and square. If you're not careful, it could easily lean too far to one side and bust out of its holdings. Two people is best for assembling this, but I did it on my own, placing chairs on either side during assembly to help prevent it from leaning. It does stand steady once the back is attached, but that is the last step, so it must be put together very carefully. The bottom screws, which attach the feet, push up too far into the base and make it bulge on the top side of the base. Luckily, these blemishes get covered by the walls when they are attached. Not impressed by this design flaw. I would think they would provide shorter screws so this doesn't happen. Overall, decent product, though I'm not sure I would buy something like this again without looking around more for something more solid. It's a lot of money for a 60% particle board piece of furniture.
