Customer Reviews

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Room Divider for the Price... The screen arrived well packaged and without any defects or scratches. I needed a room divider to give a future house guest some privacy and it was perfect! The material used in the screen was thick enough to provide that privacy, but I would mention that it is also thin enough to put your finger through if you're not careful. So just be careful when moving it around. For the price - you can't beat it. It blends well with all my other mahogany accents in the room and looks nice on display whether fully-expanded or folded up. Perfect for my needs.....nice product. February 10, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love it Very pretty, nice color. Stands well. The paper is a little fragile. October 2, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I ordered a three-panel Shoji screen from HDC a few years ago. It was well-made and I have been using it ever since. I ordered two more screens a couple of weeks ago and these screens are of poorer quality. Unlike the screen I ordered several years ago, the side frames of these screens are made of multiple slats of different colors on each long side rather than one solid piece. Aesthetically, it looks cheap and a little odd. Also, the top wood frame was split on one of the screens. January 9, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by better than expected I had read previous purchasers' reviews and they were good, so I decided to try this. I have a home office and needed a little partition between my dining room office and the great room. This is perfect. It is well made and looks great in the area. The wood frame, (I think called honey oak), turned out to blend very nicely with my wood floor. It arrived in pristine condition and of course NO ASSEMBLY - yea... February 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looked better than that picture I was very satisfied with the product. It came to the store fast. It is very attractive and does what it is supposed to do. I feel like I am in my private office when I am behind this screen. June 11, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Just what we needed ! We needed something to obscure our grand piano from direct sunlgiht. Having previously purchased a three panel soji years ago, I found one additional panel width to more than meet our needs - JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED ! Perfect for our needs. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by a classy (and useful) addition to your bedroom My bedroom has a raised platform in the corner that I use for storing all kinds of stuff, but the fact is, dusty old TVs and empty cardboard boxes don't add much to a room's personality. So I was looking for an artful way of concealing those things, and figured a multi-panel divider would do the trick... but the average divider is 72" high, and my platform is under an eave of the roof, so there are only 48" of space from the platform to the ceiling where the platform meets the wall. Enter this 46.5" guy here, which was just the right size to conceal all of my junk in the corner, while leaving a decent amount of space at the front of the platform that now makes a nice place to sit small items like photos, desk calendars, etc. The divider itself is a very rich, dark shade of red brown, with nice brass(-looking?) hinges, no assembly required... very handsome. My only gripe is that an item this simple doesn't seem like it should cost so much-- I paid $111 plus shipping, and that was the sale price! February 3, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great for behind the couch I purchased the 5 panel divider. It is just right behind the couch and separates the very open space in our house and crates a greater sense of privacy between the entrance and the living room. The style is oriental and it blends well with non oriental other furnishings. January 13, 2011
