I lied! I would not recommend to a friend because I want to be the only one to own this unique piece.

Didn't really know what to expect from this item. At the price I paid for it, I was really expecting something that "would do for the moment" in the spot until I found the right piece. Well, turns out this was the right piece. Oversized in length but perfect in depth. Fits nicely on the wall without sticking out too far. Comes with some rustic clothes pins to hang things from and even some duplicate old-fashioned styled "photographs." Probably won't use the clothes pins since I like the piece without anything hanging on it (although I currently have it decorated for Christmas). Very pleasantly surprised and pleased with this purchase.

I purchesed this bird cage sculpture (it is like a sculpture to me) on sale and love it! I put it in my craft room and we hang jewelry we make , cards I make (i am a "paper crafter"), pictures of craft ideas we want to try, inspirational messages to each other. It is turning into an art object all on it's own! If you are a paper crafter/scrapbooker then you know the bird cage stamp (Tim Holtz), it looks just like that. It was easy to hang, not heavy but sturdy, it bows out a little as it is designed too which makes it easy to hang bulky beaded jewelry from, and the color is a rusty brown but it can be spray painted and I have considered doing it black. Maybe later. We are very happy with it now, as is. Get it for your craft room , you'll love it.

I love this product. I use it to display pictures of my grandchildren. I love the color and the bird on top. Great 3D piece for the wall. A real eyecatcher. The product arrived in a timely manner and was packed well. I would highly recommend this product. I love it. Thinking about getting a second one.

This piece is cute, but it is very lightweight and fairly flimsy. It was packaged nicely, but right out of the box a number of the vertical bars were bent in odd directions, which I was able to repair by pushing them back into place. During hanging, even with careful handling, some bars were bent again and had to be re-positioned. Thankfully nothing snapped, but this is certainly a fragile piece.

This worked perfectly for my office. We have concrete walls, so I can't drill any holes to hang anything. This birdcage was light enough to hang on an adhesive hook. It's a great place to put pictures and paperwork so they don't take up valuable desk space. My only complaint is that the angle of the bird doesn't allow this to hang flat against the wall when you use the ring at the top. I had to loop the cage itself on a hook at the top. But for the price, totally worth it!

I needed something for a big blank wall in my front hall. I also wanted something out of the ordinary and fun. This was perfect! It is big enough for the wall and fun since I plan to put candid photos of my kids on it to coincide with the seasons. It is not heavy at all and arrived in perfect condition. The clips seem to be fine, not broken as some people mentioned. I also got it for 50% off so I was super happy with it.

I had read all the reviews that said it was so much nicer in person and was looking forward to this. I bought 2 to use for my daughters wedding. I don't think we will even use them, the top piece isn't centered, the color isn't nearly as dark and rustic as it looks and the quality isn't either. I don't know how all the other reviewers thought it was so nice. I would return but it wouldn't be worth the effort and cost of return shipping charges.
