I looked all over for a contemporary curtain rod, and was surprised at how difficult it was to find one! When I saw this one, I was so relieved. Great rod that looks really nice with mid century modern or contemporary decor. I bought several and I'm glad I did.

We had just moved into our newly built home and had a 14 foot wall of windows in our bedroom that needed curtains. We contemplated many other ways to cover it but honestly, finding these drapery rods with almost the same size finial as the rod, was the solution! They were easy to install (about 30 minutes) and have help up great. Look how beautifully these solved our problem when used back to back on the wall!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Karen Telescoping Brushed Nickel Curtain Rod
If you are updating to a more modern look, then these curtain rods are for you. The finish is really nice and looks very appealing with the large grommet-style, striped curtains I used them with. Understated and very stylish.

The curtain rods are nice. Sturdy, with a good finish and better than most in this price range. I would rate them at 5 stars if not for the decorative end piece (finial) on the telescoping side. The insert is made of teflon, is threaded, and attached to the rod with a metal insert. I could not find one where the finial would stay in line with the rod, each and every one angled off.
