We needed a rod to hold a valance to cover the top of some new blinds we installed. This rod worked out perfectly, although we had to install it a couple different ways to get it "perfect". See photo.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Robinwings Nice looking, great price, only one problem.
It is a decent looking rod and it is a whole inch wide which would look nice with a larger window like mine. The end piece which appears to be plastic(appears, I'm not positive) is more gold than the metal pole, but it looks good enough. I don't think anyone would really notice.................................... What I don't like about this rod is the pole is in 3 pieces, not 2 pieces. My plan was to buy two rods and convert them into one rod. This way I could recut the pole so that it connected in the center and I wouldn't have a hump where the curtains would catch when closing or opening them. I didn't look closely at how this one connected but I do know for sure I don't want to convert a 3 piece pole and will be returning this item to the store...........................................................I feel a three piece pole would be too inconvenient because it would probably not close smoothly enough to my liking. If your window is 144 inches then maybe there is no other option. My windows is 120 inches so I will be able to find a rod that is made with only 2 parts to the pole. I may or may not recommend this product to a friend. Looks yes, function maybe, it depends on the circumstances.
