Bought this on a whim even with the previous bad review. The table came in at the store in less than a week. I received a text and an email that it was ready for pick up. Went to the store and was helped by one of the customer service representative carry this over 50 lbs item to my car. Assembling it was a breeze. The quality is great, better than you would get from Ikea. The metals are heavy, the design and construction of the desk is good. It's definitely worth it. Can't beat the price either!

Overall excellent little product..Quality is what you would expect in its price range. It appears much richer than it actually cost however,

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Apartmenthunt Metal parts are painted!
My interest in the piece was the metal legs. Unfortunately instead of a metal look they look horrible! The original metal was painted white with another brushed coat of black to make it look antique? It's awful and the legs are two different colors because I think the over brush is done by hand. The underside of the shelf is a mess, left white with drips and splotches. I guess they figure "it won't show" I won't return it because the piece is so heavy and I have 3 flights of stairs, but I will be trying to strip the paint off the metal legs, so they actually look like metal! Not worth the price.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RenovatorinTx Pleased w/ purchase.
Delivery was prompt. As another customer wrote it is a weighty box and I was surprised to find the UPS lady had hefted it up a flight of stairs by herself. Assembly was relatively easy - you'll need a Phillips head screwdriver and a small Allen wrench is included. It's best assembled upside down and then flipped so someone frail or small might need assist to do this as well as put it together. Yes, white does show thru the black wash in areas on the metal so I may dab at spots w/ black acrylic paint in the future. One thing - there are some manufactured gouges/indentions on the tabletop edge that I guess are some laughable attempts at antiqueing. I didn't love this but it's not a big deal. Overall it's a handsome piece that works and fits nicely where I needed it and I didn't drive all over town trying to find the desired measurements.
As I purchased item on sale I am pleased w/ this purchase and the price.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by urbanspace1 Did not work for me
I purchased this console for an entry way that is very narrow. The dimensions indicated are 42" wide but the flare of the leg exceeds this. Sadly, I did not have an extra inch to spare. The console is very heavy! Be prepared if you have to carry it up stairs. The metal legs and shelf are the most interesting feature on this console. The wood top is slightly distressed. I don't like the knobs on the drawers but otherwise they are fine.
If the console were not so heavy to lift, I would disassemble it and returned it.

The drawers are a lille shallow for long term storage, but other than that it's perfect for my needs in it's current location.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by achay Going back today, sadly
We actually liked the looks of this piece, the metal was interesting and added some style to an otherwise plain piece. It was really easy to put together. But the quality was terrible - there was a chip in the top on the corner and one of the drawers was broken beyond repair. Really poor quality for the price. It's going back today.

The table itself looks great... once assembled. It did not arrive with the predrilled holes as expected/stated in the instructions. in addition, the side pieces are made of metal/tin and were somewhat warped. they fit fine but needed to be forced straight to maintain the symmetry of the piece. Now that it is together, it looks great.
