Whoever created this product, obviously never tried to use it. The directions state to "snap the rod into the brackets" after the brackets are hung......however, it doesn't "snap" in--the fit is very loose, so it simply rests in the bracket. Which means there is nothing to hold the rod in place. Every time you move the curtain, the entire rod shifts. Although a simple fix was to cut a wide rubber band into about a one inch piece and let the rod rest on it to hold it, I've never seen a curtain rod without something to fasten the rod in place. Horrible design.

If you're looking for a basic curtain rod, this is it. Rod construction is a little flimsier than other rods but holds my curtains well and stays put. Looks good for the application I needed it for. All hangers/screws came with rod. My rod fit perfectly into hangers and did not have issues like other reviewers have stated. If you want a basic rod, I recommend it (though I believe cost could have been a little lower for quality of rod)....otherwise I would advise to spend the extra money and get a better quality rod.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Blazini Rod does not lock in place
As others have mentioned, there does not appear to be a way to lock the telescoping rod at the length you want - it continues to slide easily back and forth as you move the curtains. While the rod looked as nice as expected, the first time I tried to pull my curtains open the smaller half of the rod slipped out from the larger half of the rod at the center joint and the curtain and half the rod collapsed to the floor. No mention of how to resolve in the instructions. I guess tape may work to hold it together, but some way to lock in place or a screw to hold at the desired length would greatly improve the otherwise dangerous product.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DBNH Overall, a nice curtain rod
This curtain rod installs easily and looks nice. The reason it did not get a five star rating is because the grommet where the two rods slide together isn't sufficiently sloped to allow the rings to easily slide over it.

I wish I would have paid a little more for better curtain rods, but I got these and hung them and while they look good, when I open my curtains the rod moves too. I had to tape it for it to not move. Why wouldn't they make some kind of locking on this.

do not waste your money or your time on this item. it may look nice, but its made of cheap material that easily breaks. while installing the item, the end piece broke in two while twisting it in with one hand. found out that the end piece screw was glued in. also the two pole portions do not twist together and hold. they basically keep moving/shifting.
