Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GoSteelers Beautiful and good quality
We bought two of these rods and are very happy with them. They are sturdy, we think they are all metal, with a nice metal finial nearly the size of a tennis ball. Our grommet-top drapes hang well on the one-inch thick rod, and glide effortlessly. Overall, a very satisfactory purchase.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mags Beautiful but comes with cheap hardware
We have an older home with plaster walls and installing these rods, (the first one anyway) was a nightmare! The hardware that came with it is cheaply made, and the drill bit size in the instruction is incorrect. Installed the others using hardware we purchased separately and it was easy and came out perfect! This would be a five star if I didn't have to go back and get different hardware!!

Very easy to install this rod. The hardware that was included worked well for the installation and no other purchases were necessary.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by joegetto Just terrible quality
My wife was very excited for me to install these new curtain rods. The look nice and the finishing I thought looked sharp, but on installation everything went wrong.
The screws they supply to install seem to me made out the weakest metal known. When tightening the first bracket, not over tight mind you, just snug, the screw head snapped off the screw and then scarred into the wall. Great. I got mad but thought, things happen. so I moved my setup half an inch over and used one of the extra screws i wasn't going to use. No problems.
Next bracket on opposite side of the window: same thing happened again. Screw head snapped off on snugging up. I was so mad i wanted to bend the whole rod in half.
I have never been more unsatisfied with a product, and will be going back immediately.
