The look I wanted. Two segments that slide into each other to adjust the length. A third segment is available (I did not use it) so it can get quite long if needed. If you use all three segments you probably need the center bracket too. The instructions on the box are very brief and it's not clear at what point the extra bracket is needed.
I installed it easily using the holes already made for the previous rod.

The rod set was easy to assemble. Used for 96" wide window. Would highly recommend.

Awesome look, very well made, you get what you pay fo. everyone that looks at them long enough definetely knows they are well made. the comparison to ones in Bed Bath & Beyond weren't even close and you would spend more to have rod, balls and hardware purchased seperately...

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MrWoods Screws failed under hand-tension, no way to stop telescoping
While installing two of these curtain rods I had two screws fail while being turned under hand-pressure. One screw-head sheared off of it's shaft, another had it's drive stripped while turning. Both failures were sudden and under moderate tension while being screwed into a wooden stud.
The curtain rod also has no mechanism to stop the rod from telescoping, so pulling the curtain often extends the rod.

A ton of bang for the cost. They look expensive, but were very affordable. Great product!
