I USED SEPARATE WALL ANCHORS 5 PER SHELF.
THE 2 SCREWS USED TO HOLD SHELF IN PLACE VERY WEAK
THE TUBES YOU SLIDE ONTO ARE OK EXCEPT ......THAT ONCE IN PLACE
THE SHELF STILL WANTS TO LEAN FORWARD,LOOKS DROOPY.
I HAVE TO NOW PURCHASE SEPARATE BRACKETS TO HOLD THE UNITS UP.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Es1984 Wrap-around floating shelves for the breakfast nook
I wanted display and storage shelves above the windows in our 1950's home's breakfast nook, and thought these floating shelves would look great...and they do. Definitely get heavier duty anchors...we did for the wrap-around shelf unit we created for our breakfast nook. Home Depot carries three lengths of this shelf, so I was able to buy what I needed to fit. Our walls are plaster over cinder block...thank goodness one of us had superior handyman skills and tools. The shelves look terrific, but it was a job to get them lined up on our wavy walls, using two 24" and two 36" lengths. I'm sure these would be a relative breeze to attach to a typical, drywall covered wall. The heavy anchors purchased from Home Depot are Sharkie brand wall mount 5/16" which include 2" screws. Due to the thickness of our wall, we had to purchase 2 1/2" (# 12) screws from ACE, as Home Depot doesn't currently stock that size. Additionally, one of the 36" shelves was bowed, returned, and another purchased, after verifying it was level which is easy to do while it's in its packaging, if you borrow a level from the tool section, as my husband thought to do.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by NeededShelves Good quality for the price - would buy again.
Because of the relatively inexpensive price, I did not expect the shelves to be top quality and was willing to hope for the best despite some negative reviews. We are pleased with the shelves and the purchase. Some screws did, in fact, break, the instructions leave much to be desired, and the hole cover stickers disguise the holes but are themselves plainly visible due to their white bottoms showing. STILL.... the shelves look good once hung and easily support the weight of the various items we have displayed. We recommend the shelves to realistic buyers.

The shelf looks nice and the clean look provided by the hidden bracket is great. The quality is just OK as I had to bend the bracket manually to get it to hold the shelf level (it tilted down about 5 degrees without the adjustment). It is not as sturdy as a standard bracket (don't plan to hold up anything heavy). Overall, a good value for light duty shelf needs.

Very sturdy and looks great! My son wanted shelves to hold his knick knacks and these shelves fit the bill perfectly.

Loved the design. Shelf looks great and was easy to install. It is designed for light objects. I used different screws because I did not have studs on both sides.

Do yourself a favor and buy separate drywall anchors. The ones included are useless - the head broke off the first one I tried. Otherwise, shelf and mounting bracket are well-made and look nice.
