Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pogo Traverse rod window treatment
The window was broken and the curtain and drapery rods were damaged. Replacing just the traverse rod was cost effective. This product was successfully able to be fitted into a 30 year old existing window treatment. It works and looks great!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 4pitesake Bad customer service
There are no instructions and the manufacturers answer to a question about where to get them states that they are in the package and not available online. Well guess what. I bought two and also had no directions. If you care about your reputation you would have done something to get them to your customer instead of just saying they aren't available online. I'll be sure not to buy any other products from this manufavturer

Was easy to install. Curtain slides back-and-forth really easy.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by John08970 Very Cheaply Made, Do Not Buy
Bought this rod to hang up in my family room (96 in slider) The rod is made very cheaply and does not fit together well which causes plastic traverse slides to bind at the intersection of the inside sliding rod and the outside. Tried to work around this by making sure that rod was nice, level and straight, but no luck. Even inside carriage binds on the transitions. Also tried replacing the traverse slides with newer ones made of better material, still no luck. Traverse slides also pop out of the tracks onto the floor when hanging curtains. Overall, do not buy this thing. There are better rods out there for the same price. Mine when straight back for a refund!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Homeowner Too light for lined drapes
after getting it home and looking at the drapes and rod decided to purchase a different traverse rod from JC Penny that was heavy duty enough to carry the weight of 81" lines drapes over 115" span.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by jalegend Works, but lousy instructions
The instructions do not tell you the drill bit size for the mounting screws. The connection of the wall brackets to the bar does not fit well.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Barnie worst draw string curtain rods I have ever had the displeasure to buy
Instructions are poor, they do not run well, and catch at the joiners. I had to modify the centre brackets as there was no way the hooks would actually pass by without catching. Even after having them up and down 5 times and modify the runners, they still do not run well.
They are made of just to thin a metal, with all the wrong angles in the flow of the hooks so the hooks always catch. Also the string is to stiff and binds in its path.
You cannot add or remove runner hooks without taking the whole rail down.
I love traverse rods and the way the curtains pull back and forth with elegance. These do not, they jitter and grind and just make you very frustrated.!!
Poor value because it doesn't matter what the price, if they don't work they are not value.
very disgruntled buyer.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DIYer Hard to find item; seriously over priced elsewhere
i was going to buy one of these rods at JCPenneys, but after finding this one at Home Depot at the price I paid, I'm VERY glad I bought this item from Home Depot and NOT JCPenneys.
