Answer:
Please call this # and they will be able to help you find the DR in the finish you need. Please tell the agent the name of your fan so they can pull up the right specs to get you the matching color. 800-527-0998

Does this fan allow for a dimmer? It looks like it could have two options with the light.

Answer:
the handheld remote that comes with the unit will dim the light. All you do is hold down the light button on the remote and it will dim the fixture. You could also buy a fan rated wall control that will control both the speed and light level at your local Home Depot

Can you use the remote to change fan to reverse or is it manual only?

Answer:
This is not a full function remote control which means the fan must be switched manually to reverse airflow. There is a small black switch on the top of the motor. You will need to push the button the opposite way it currently is positioned to change the airflow.

Answer:
There is no reverse on th remote and I don't believe that it is possible to reverse the fan manually. I don't like that but it is the same with a different fan I also own. If the remote fails or is lost it appears that you will lose the use of your fan.

There is a clicking noise. Any ideas for solution? Sounds like rubbing and louder if fan is faster.

Answer:
One of the units I purchased also clicked. For mine the motor was out of balance and rubbed on the outside fan cover. I tried and tried to resolve, but I ended up taking the unit back in and exchanged for another.

Answer:
You might want to try the balancing kit that came with the fan. If that doesn't fix the problem then it sounds like one of your blade arms is installed wrong or could be bent.

Abercorn 52 in. Indoor/Outdoor Iron Ceiling Fan is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Worth the Wait! I've wanted to replace the builder grade white fan from the day I moved in! When you have a cathedral ceiling you can view the fan blades from upstairs. I've looked a long time for a fan where the blades were the same on both sides and had lighting that actually added to the room. This fan, in looks and function, met all my needs. We needed to rent a ladder in order to hang the fan on the 5' downrod. The fan looks stunning in the room whether it's off or on. The remote control is a great addition - you can easily dim the light and change the speed of the fan. It works quietly and moves the air just the right amount to feel cool without being blown away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice fan I did not have any of the issues that others have had. The only issue I had at all was getting the remote receiver to fit in the "tray" that is in the top. It took me a while but it fit fine once I figured it out. I think this fan is nice and it puts out quite a bit of air. The light design it casts on the ceiling is cool too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Albercorn 52" ceiling fan Great fan went up easily except for the remote reciever. The reciever has to be EXACTLY inthe right place, or shroud will not fit. A little more space in the shroud and/or special attention given in the instructions on how to place the unit properly. Would have given it 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Finishing Touch Great fan. Easy installation. Looks wonderful. Practically silent but moves a lot of air. A really great look at a great price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Came with Built-In Rubbing / Grinding Noise This is a very good looking fan. Professionally installed two of the same fans .One fan was OK, while the other produced a very slight Rubbing / Grinding Noise as soon as the blades started turning. Found the moving fan motor was touching the stationary light kit mounting plate. It appears that this was a factory spacing error of the distance between the two parts. Corrected the issue at the customers home by adding small washers as spacers on the topside of the light kit mounting plate.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Light reflecting looks like a disco The light/fan looks nice until you turn on the light. The beveled glass makes the walls & ceiling in the room look like a disco :-( We are returning it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Noisiest fan I've ever heard Went through the hassle of installing this fan on the porch which was difficult due to it not being new construction and needing alterations in my mounting area in order to fit the remote receiver, only to discover the fan makes an absurdly large amount of noise. All of the screws were tightened properly and followed directions upon install. Directions stated the fan has a 24 hour break in period and any noise should go away after the break in. Well after 48 hours of the fan running on medium speed it is actually louder than when initially powered on. Something has to be broken internally. Beautiful fan and if I wasnt wanting to ever use the fan I would keep it for the looks but since the entire point was to have a functional beautiful fan, I will be taking it down and returning it. For $200 I would expect better quality assurance of this product. Extremely disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SmilingInBuffalo WOW, very pretty fan and light! The light is bright and has a stunning projection on ceiling. Love the remote feature. Our electrician had no problem installing...only negative is the fan did not come with a long down rod. Most 52" fans with a light the size of this, include the optional rod. We had to purchase that separately. Works well with the Titan Lighting "Hartford" chandelier in our vaulted ceiling greatroom. Not too busy...nor distracting one fixture from the other on the ceiling.
