It was 'ok'. For the money and for the hassle - I had wanted the product delivered to a different address, I was clicking too fast and it went to my apartment, which was fine - just more of a hassle to pick up. Then, when I did finally receive it, I was dissapointed to learn I had to put it together. I don't remember reading that anywhere in the description - 'assembly required'. I think I was hopeful that it would come already assembled...no such luck. The color, wasn't quite what I expected (as what is shown in the picture) but it will work. It is too much trouble to send back and would cost more to do so. It will have to do for the bathroom that I want it in.

I saw the Amanda cabinet on the Home Depot site and LOVED it! Nothing else even came close. The thing was, I was looking for a white cabinet with the exact features of the Amanda cabinet. White is what my new vanity and my existing linen cabinet were in.
I did a web search and found Home Decorators. Still no white. I sent the link to my friend, who also loved the cabinet she pointed out that with the Black Granite counter top on my vanity the dark brown would be a nice contrast with what I had planned.
I fell in love with this cabinet because it didn't look like everything else out on the market, it has a hidden self two drawers and a towel rack! That's a LOT of storage and it's not even taking up floor space!!! Woot! Bonus!

Overall the cabinet is well made and looks nice on the wall. It has a nice towel bar and frosted glass panels. One downside is the cabinet is only about seven inches deep. I cannot seem to fold bath towels small enough to fit in and when I do, the doors keep popping open due to the extremely weak magnet that holds the doors shut. I now have to come up with some type of lock which will need to be mounted on the exterior to keep them shut. I may also try a stronger magnet providing I can find one

We ordered 3 of the Amanda Wall Cabinets with towel racks for each of our bathrooms. The dark brown color online looked to match our vanity cabinets perfectly. Unfortunately, the Amanda cabinet has a lot of red/burgandy tones in with the brown that did not blend well with our very dark brown cabinets. We were very disappointed because we really liked the style of the Amanda wall cabinet. We decided to return all three and the shipping was VERY COSTLY! Need a more accurate picture of the dark brown cabinet on the website!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Virwill So-so finish, weak construction
The main issue with this cabinet is the lack of backbone. Ideally, it would have a sturdy brace across the top of the back through which you could drill, fasten into a stud, and have a confident mount. Instead, a thin back has two tiny keyholes that are practically impossible to line up on and hang from the screws (set in plastic drywall anchors) that seem like they're about 1/64th smaller than the keyholes. When I finally hooked them into the keyholes, the screws gave way - pulled loose from the drywall. Not strong enough. I ended up yanking out the screws, drilling a new pilot through the thin back, and installing the cabinet with long wood screws through the stud. The cabinet itself looks good, once you get through the assembly; I had to touch up the outer edges with a cherry wax pencil. It did match my cherry-stained trim in the bathroom, though, so that was a good thing.

This is a decent and attractive wall mount bathroom cabinet: reasonably well made from engineered material (MDF?). It's a bit of a jigsaw puzzle, but all the pieces fit together well. The two drawers are rather shallow, and loose fitting. The only things keeping them from falling out of the cabinet when you pull them out are a couple of dowels serving as rudimentary stops. Mounting is quite tricky: if you don't get exactly the right width between the mounting screws, they won't line up with the holes in the back.

Easy to put together. I did it in about 1.5 hours. Instructions were easy to follow. The only thing is there is some instruction on how to treat the tempered glass but it doesn't make any sense. Slight imperfection along the edge of the piece of wood that divides the drawers, but I'll just touch that up with some mahogany stain. Agree with one review that the finish is "redder" than it appears in the image. However, it goes well with the vanity I purchased somewhere else that was listed as "espresso". Lucky for me the vanity "espresso" color erred on the reddish tone. Instructions for mounting the screws in the wall weren't clear as my husband didn't insert the anchors until they were flush with the wall. Once he did and the screw stuck out some, we were able to hang the cabinet with no problem.

The Amanda Wall Cabinet w/ Towel Bar was moderately easy to put together. The parts fit, and the cabinet looks good on the wall in my bathroom. In my opinion it took an inordinately long time to ship and be delivered. However, it was worth the wait. The cabinet is well built, the finish is excellent, and it has conveniences such as the door closing magnet, and drawer dowels to keep drawers from coming out in your hand.
Overall an excellent product and experience.
