Ordered two Amanda Wall Cabinets. One came in very good condition, assembled easily, and looks nice. The second arrived with broken glass on both doors. I inquired as to returning this second item and the company immediately responded that they'd send me another entire unit at no cost. It arrived 3-4 days later, assembled easily and is a nice addition to the bathroom. The unit with the broken glass? Well, I must admit that I went to a glass store and bought new glass for it - so a third cabinet. And, oh, since there is only one shelf in each of these, I built additional shelves out in the garage, bought the pegs and installed them in all three cabinets. Very pleased.

I had a dilemma as to which color I wanted to buy. At first I thought I'd get the lighter of the 2 choices but suddenly decided on the dark brown. I was thrilled to receive it and it was more red than the photo showed and matched perfectly with the vanity I bought a few years back. The style is perfect. Clean lines, elegant looking. Goes great with the Japanese style decor of my home.
I had trouble with the door hinges but with the newly acquired patience I have developed I managed it by myself. It does say to have 2 people to put it together though, to their credit. I do wish it had more than 1 shelf, but I should be able to do that myself one day.

I bought this cabinet for my son's apartment in Manhattan. He needs one to hang above the toilet. It's a small bathroom so the extra storage is much needed. It's a little difficult to assemble since the instructions were not that clear. It took him a good hour to assemble and he's a faily handy person.
After it's assembled, it looks very nice. However we do wish there's one extra shelf provided. The color is just what he wanted - dark brown.
The backing is not made of plywood. It looks like it's just made of some hard board. I don't know how good it will hold with the moisture in the bathroom. Time will tell.

This cabinet will fit above a toilet which is where I wanted it to go.
I have just two suggestions for improvement, though.
#1 Make the glass opaque rather than translucent. I do not want my guests to see into my bathroom cabinet and I already know what's in there.
#2 There is plenty of room for two shelves although the unit only comes with one shelf. This diminmishes the practical value of the cabinet as there is effectively one third less space than there could be. That's a pretty significant loss.
I wouldn't mind if the manufacturer sent me another shelf with mounting peg hardware. Thank you.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pacandsac Dissapointed, it was sent with damage
It was obvious that the front of the cabinet had chipped and been touched up with a stain pen. It still had a rough edge and chipped again. This wasn't noticed until it was almost fully put together and was not worth sending back.

Very happy with this purchase and as always very happy with Home Decorators. Received it in excellent condition. Workmanship and quality of materials is what impressed me the most with this cabinet and very eloquent. Would have been nice if it came with two inside shelves instead of one, but not an issue. Most items with a back are attached using small nails, this has wood screws, to me that means a lot.

After looking around for a while, I found this cabinet to match my vanity. Now I was skeptical since my vanity is REAL cherry wood and was very expensive. The clean lines and color made me give it a try. Assembly was pretty easy, but I dont remember seeing you have to build the whole thing. All the parts were there and I did it myself. My only complaint would be that the hanger system is two small holes on the back and the screws and plastic anchors that are included are pretty small and flimsy to hold the cabinet--not to mention whatever you put in it. I used them and also screwed the center to a stud for stability.
Overall, it looks expensive for a reasonable price, but if you beat it up, the veneer will scratch off.
