The swing arm lamps have a great look, but are very poorly made. Bent wall attachments, screws the wrong size and didn't fit in to the holes. Good thing we have a shop to re bend and drill and find proper size screws. It was an adventure in installation for sure, and not a good one.

I have one of these lamps already and was very pleased with it, so I ordered another a couple of years later.
It looks the same (happy!) but the screw provided to connect the arched arm quickly stripped ( not happy).
On further investigation, the opening on the inside of the connection was blocking the screw's access so it couldn't get set in place.
Sadly, I returned it. It was very expensive to return, which did not make me happy.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BB492012 Great Light
This light worked out perfect, exactly what was needed in my living room. I have a sectional in a corner of wall and open railing 6" up at back of sectional. My favorite place is the corner for watching tv and relaxing. Have it on wall behind sectional for lighting of reading, sewing etc. The photo on their website online, the shade looked pleated, but it is not, at least one I received is not, it is smooth material but true to color, I chose, sage shade and antique brass lamp finish, it looks good together, the photo on their website online the antique brass looked shiny but it isn't, I was hoping it wasn't. I like it very well. (my first photo is with light off, 2nd light on and light swung out more)

The shades (I got white) were a bit more shiny than I wanted...they look cheap. Easy to replace though...and I will. Easy to assemble and install (used the plug-in option).

Great style, scale and color options. This is not your same old boring swing arm lamp. The medium lamp size is perfect for over a desk or bedside. Has great features like 3-way light, pivoting shade and swing arm of course. Was at my doorstep in less than a week and very easy to install. My only disappointment was the shade was a bit cheaper than I was hoping, it has hard plastic inside instead of fabric. Best to finish off the overall appearance with a cord cover if the cord will be exposed. Makes your room look great.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pepperland4 Great bedside lamps, a tad large
So if you are debating between the medium and the large, go for the medium. I measured these beforehand but was still surprised how large they look on either side of the bed once installed. Then again, I have a somewhat low platform bed so take that with a grain of salt.
I LOVE the fact that they swing side to side, also that they accommodate up to 150 watt bulbs with a three way option. I love the options that it gives me to have different levels of light on either side of the bed.
They are very high quality given how inexpensive they were.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JStar Stylish and Versatile
This lamp does well decorating any finished space whether austere or intimate. I have four of them, one in each upstairs office and two in the bedroom mounted as bedside lights. The shade selections are spot on and they compliment the decor in each room. The corded option they come with is perfect for older houses, and the option to hardwire is simple and accessible. I only gave 4 stars for workmanship because there was slight variation among the lamps in how far down the center pole extended on the plate. Hardly noticeable.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by wanttobedesigner Nice lamp
The only reason that I did not give this product a five star rating is because the swing arm has a small amount of play in it. I wish you were able to securely fasten the arm together. However, I believe that the product will hold up nicely as I don't expect it to get moved very often in my living room.
I was able to install it by myself with the use of a power screwdriver.
