Then Artisan shoe bench looks great, well made, packaged well to insure minimal if any damage. That's the good news. It does not function as well as it looks. The shoe cubbys would be hard pressed to accommodate any adult tennis/running shoes. I wear a 6M shoe and one of my athletic shoes fit per cubby at an angle. The cubby is not tall enough for the shoe to fit either with the shoe sole down or the shoe on its side. If you live in a warmer climate and have lots of sandals or you are buying it to hold mostly kids shoes then it is a great "fit".

Rated 5 out of 5Â by XtraSpace Perfect addition to the Bar Room
I had a unique use for this bench and it worked out perfectly. I put it in my Bar Room to be used for extra seating and storage of some of my CD's. Compartments worked good for this use. I can fit up to 90 CD's in them, not counting the drawers (see photo attached).
The bench is very well built and the packaging was the best I've seen. Very happy with my purchase.

Expertly packed, fully assembled bench. Attractive and functional piece now occupying a space where an old TV console used to be.

Great picture in the catalog, and the shoe storage bench was fairly close to form - only it was 2/3 the size the picture had implied. A pair of 7 1/2 shoe barely fits in a cubby (albeit stacked), so we unscrewed the back to remove a partition. Looks a bit odd in our living room; it's suited more for a kid's room given the size.
