Countertop is white with shades of tan/gold/brown and is NOT gray. Complete waste of time and energy to order online, return to store, and then have to go and find substitute. If the item had been described as tan instead of gray, I would not have ordered it. Very deceptive, but return was processed quickly.

The packing was amazing. After opening the box, there were no scratches or other damages. Some assembly required but easy to do.

Ordered twice- and each time the top was cracked when delivered. Had to bring back to Home Depot ourselves. Beware- you are only issued a store credit. After the second time- decided to find another vanity from another vendor.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lisa First time around both marble tops broken
So the first time I ordered the vanities they both came with broken tops. I couldn't just reorder the tops so both units needed to be returned to the store. Home Depot returned both vanities with ease but they were back ordered and I had to wait a while to get new ones. I searched and searched for another one that I liked as much or better than the ones that I got but I LOVED THE STYLE AND LONES OF THIS ONE. The only reason I am giving this a four star is because the first two came with broken tops. I can't comment on installation because I did not install.

The vanity is sturdy, but it is most definitely NOT marble. I have no idea what the top is made of. And you can't buy a matching one-piece backsplash anywhere. My contractor told me it looks like quartz, and a picture I sent to a guy at a stone showroom thought that at 1/2inch thick, it was most definitely not even stone. Pretty misleading when you order online and expect marble. The vanity top also has more of a brown marbling, there is no gray in it. The entire thing sparkles kind of like engineered quartz. It looks nice either way. We did have to cut the back a little bit to fit the pipes when it was installed, but that's no big deal. The silicone sealant between the base and the vanity top was also peeling off right from the start. At $600, it'll work.

We like the vanity overall. My only complaint is that the drawer doesn't slide close when you push it. You have to actually push it hard to make it close all the way. It's nice that it doesn't slam shut but annoying that you really have to put effort into closing it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JuliaEpstFL Not as Advertised... but Still lovely
First I will say that this vanity is very very lovely. But the "Marble" top is not Marble. Even when you open the box, the instructions / booklet for the item says "Granite"
Now... it's not Marble... but the granite is very nice... I was hoping for Marble to match other things in the bathroom... and I am going with this vanity even though the match isn't exact cause it is still a niece piece.
This also isn't a Carrara looking marble, as the (white grey swirled marble description suggests) it's more of a White golden veined with some grey mix granite. (again, as I say... it is still very nice... just not what I was expecting)
The vanity seems strong, and the look is very nice, there are some stain inconsistencies from piece to piece (a little too much of a stain blurb here and there) but I am pretty picky.
The piece is still a great value, I got it when they had their bathroom sale, so it was worth it in my opinion even with the hefty shipping price.

Home Depot partners with Home Decorators to offer this well made and stylish vanity. I couldn't be happier with the look, the price and the delivery.
