First off, appearance wise this is a very cool fan. But the manufacturer has poorly engineered it. While it works on high, other settings are barely functional. And it's because I do NOT have a 3rd line running to that outlet in the ceiling. MOST houses do NOT have a 3rd leg running to outlets. So why on earth did you design it that way?!? I will keep the fans because I like the look. And maybe eventually run a new line to it. But really..... KNOW who you are marketing to and make it easy for the consumer. 5 stars appearance, 1 star designwise.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by LC Love the look but the durability is lacking
Bought two of these for my back patio and had a professional electrian come install them. They both worked at first then after a few minutes one of the units stopped working. The electrian checked all of the wiring and breakers and nothing was wrong. He assumed it was a faulty switch. So the other fan was still working fine and continued to do so all of the first day. But now it has started not oscillating. The electrian is coming back out to look at the fans. He is hoping a new switch will fix the first one and he is going to look at the second one to see what's going on with it.
I'm extremely disappointed in this products durability. I am hoping it is a simple fix and the fans will work because I love the look of the units.

I purchased this fan for a new screened inclosure. I did not want to install ceiling fans so when I saw this I thought it would be great for the space. I like everything about it except for the fact that it only ocilates 45 degrees. I would have worked better if it ocilates at least 90 degrees. My next option is to move it to a wall mount instead.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by javelina3473 GREATEST FAN EVER
Purchased this fan for our porch. Installation was simple even added a remote control to it since we didn't have a place for wall switch. On hot days we on now sit on porch in better comfort than before. One suggestion if you're going to install a remote make sure you purchase a multi speed remote so you can adjust the fan speed also

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by rhodg001 Exactly the look I was going for, but only works on high.
I purchased this fan for my bathroom the current bathroom fan was not pushing enough air. My husband installed the fan which took 3 hours. Then it would only work on high, of course that is very loud. We called a electrician to come and reinstall. He reinstalled and it would still only work on HIGH. After paying for a electrician and the overall amount of time it took and the hole in the ceiling. I kept it just because I did not want a large hole in the ceiling while they sent me a new one.

The wall control is very practical, and the fan has a modern and beatiful design.

A good thing to know is that this fan can only be mounted from the ceiling so that the oscillation will move up & down, as opposed to left & right. You could mount it on the wall if you needed it to oscillate left & right I guess.
It is very quiet & seems to be of good quality.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bpcro Great so far.
So far, it's great and really makes a difference during these hot days. For a small front porch, it really moves some air and you have several different options for the installation to choose from:
1: all the way....you need 3 wires for this, White, Black and blue/red plus your ground. This option is only going to be if you are doing a new build or you hire an electrician and run an additional wire; as most homes including mine are just your standard white, black and ground/green. This option will allow you to take advantage of the wall plate to have better control of fan speed and oscillation.
2: High speed plus oscillation without the wall plate...Just put the white to white, and the blue and black to the black and ground/green to green. Use your existing wall switch (on/off) and this will put the fan on high and oscillation motion on when you flip the switch.
3: High speed no oscillation...White to white, black to black and green to green and just leave the blue out and use electrical tape to cap it off. Use the existing wall switch for (on/off) and this will put the fan on high with no oscillation.
I choose to do number 2 and it took me about 30 minutes to install, and so far its great. Time will tell if it continues to work as promised; fingers crossed.
