My husband is a contractor and installed 1600 square feet of this flooring in just 4 days! It went down easily and looks beautiful. Since the floor us new I can't say how well it holds up but so far so good! Everyone who has seen it loves it!

I absolutely love the look of our flooring. It's beautiful, however when the sun floods our house you can see surface scratching everywhere we walk. Yes, we are a family of 5, but this is normal wear and tear and in all our highly used areas. We have felt on everything to prevent scratching. I brought the issue to Home Depot and they kindly filed a complaint for me, but the company denied it saying they don't cover surface scratches in residential housing. Keep in mind, we have only had this installed for 1 year......I shutter to think what this flooring will look like in 5 years. We have now noticed buckling in the floor. Of course this is by our dishwasher so I am sure they will say there is a leak, however, we have no leak......we checked! If I could do it again, I would spend more money for a more quality product. It's our fault, I guess, we went cheap on flooring, however, they say it has a 25 year warranty. Unfortunately, I'm already thinking of re-doing our floors. All that money, hard work, and time down the drain. I wish they would have at least acknowledged that their product isn't performing as it should.

+Installation of kitchen & Laundry took less than a day. The beautiful wood grain matches my low bar almost perfectly and it is 20 years old! I am very delighted with this laminate flooring.

My son wanted a new floor in his room vs. the carpet. We went out shopping for a floor we could put down together. We both liked the brilliant maple 8mm. It has a 25 year warranty on it as well. We prepped the floor, bought a good underlayment and away we went. The hardest part of the install will be the first 2 or three rows. If a few corner pieces come Un done, there is not enough weight down on the floor to help lock them into place. We used the kit, bought a floor Z bar (recommended) and a rubber mallet. If a few pieces should come un down while you are putting the floor down, you can go back and pull them into place once you get more rows down. So, some beginning boards will shift when starting. After the 3rd or 4th row, it goes pretty smooth. For a DIY I give this skill needed a 6. Make sure you have a good miter / chop saw. Worst part of this was being on your knees! LoL. Anyway, we installed new floor in sons room. Look great! Too early to tell about scratches and stuff but the product seems well made. I had no issues of bad pieces. We like it so much we might take it through the rest of the house!

I have installed this flooring in 3 bedrooms so far and will do the adjoining hallway next. The floor is very sturdy, and is very easy to install.

I replaced a laminate floor that I had for 13 years with this, It is beautiful but when the sun shines in through the windows you can see scratches from the dogs toenails,(small dogs) looks terribly worn and isn't even a year old. Also if it gets any water on it it bubbles up the edges so I have many of those too, from people tracking in snow on their feet, after just a few months it looked older than the stuff i replaced with it. I don't expect it to last more than a couple more years.
