Can I install more than one light fixture on the same electrical circuit?

If multiple fixtures are installed on the same electrical circuit, will all of the fixtures turn on together?
Asked by: EEZRYD
Yes but technically microseconds apart! That assumes they are in equally dark locations. The East side of your house should come on before the west side.

Can you use a candlelabra bulb with this fixture?

Asked by: Ksy
Certainly. Candelabra is a style of "lamp" not a base size. It is a flame or torpedo shaped lamp. The small size known widely as candelabra is called Edison 12 in the trade where the larger "medium" base is technically Edison 22. Both are available at Home Depot in LED as well as incandescent. Edison 14 is an in between size found in Europe and the far east. Oddly enough some lamps are made in left hand thread to deter theft!

Can light be reset to stay on during special events on motion sensor outdoor wall lantern then reset to go back to regular motion sensing?

Asked by: LGH
The light can be put into manual override mode. This feature only works a night and will stay on for 8 hours or dawn which ever comes first. Simply turn the wall switch off-on-off-on with in 3 seconds. Same thing to take it out of manual mode.

Brimfield 180-Degree 1-Light Aged Iron Motion-Sensing Outdoor Wall Lantern is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 97.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the Light, But.... We love the looks of the light and its functionality; however, the instructions should include in BIG BOLD LETTERS "DO NOT INCLUDE MULTIPLE LIGHTS ON ONE CIRCUIT". We ended up buying 5 lights because we were told that the first two were faulty; when through trial and error we finally figured out that two lights could not be included on the same circuit.

Called the company for replacement through warranty and replaced both. Third light went out a couple months after that...just waiting for the other one to go out now. Would not recommend any of this manufacturer's products at Home Depot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked for only two months It was out of stock in store... so ordered online... took a long time to ship, by that time the home depot store had it stocked, still had to wait for mine to arrive... Paid an electrician to install it, and it lasted two months. It was all sealed with caulk by the installer, and I was not going to take it down to see what went wrong... after four months without light, it was taken down, the AC lines had power, that proved no issue with supply. The lamp just stopped working. I do not have the original box, now taking it to home depot as is, just in case they show 'sympathy' and give me a replacement.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Non-standard screws These lights seen to work just fine. The only problem I have with them is the threaded rods that came with it. I have aluminum siding and I needed to buy some longer screws or threaded rod to get the length I needed. The problem was these rods were not a standard size nor were the tapped holes in the mounting plate. They probably a 7-32 which can't be found anywhere. So if you have aluminum siding, do yourself a favor and buy something else. I had to tap the holes, find the right size screws, then assemble everything. A major pain.

Purchased this light, installed it and it lasted only a couple weeks until it stopped working. Returned it to the store and exchanged it for the same light. Installed the second light only to have it fail again. Very unhappy with the performance of the light. Would not recommend purchasing this light to anyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Motion Sensor inconsistant quality but excellent customer service by Hampton Bay Along with many of the other reviews, we had to replace our light after 1 year of use (motion sensor stopped working) but I have to say, the Hampton Bay customer service is impressive. Not only do you get connected to a customer service rep promptly, the rep will even give you their name and direct line/extension so there is only one person that you have to deal with during the entire transaction. They also stay on the line with you as they connect you to your local Home Depot manager to verify if they have a replacement in stock. If so, you bring in your failed light and get a replacement that same day with no hassle. We bought 5 Hampton Bay lights that all match and out of all 5, only the one has had issues. If, after the 3 year warranty is up, I would still buy these again for the price considering the costs of many other motion sensor lights. Hampton Bay customer support #: 877-527-0313...if you bought one and are having issues, contact them. You won't be disappointed with their service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from elegant look Looks great on new construction. Was the only company we could find that had both regular and sensor models that matched. Make sure that the black plate is placed in the back of the lamp.

I originally bought 2 of these lights a year ago because my wife loved the look and I liked the motion sensor and other features . 1 stopped working after about 3 months and I returned it to Home Depot and got is replaced no questions asked. The 2nd one stopped working about 2 months ago and I should have kept the box to return it but I didn't. After reading the reviews, I saw that the sensors must be poorly made because the problem seems to be common. My wife still loves the look of these lights and wants all our lights to match, so I contacted the manufacturer to ask if they were aware of the sensor problem and if they changed them after all the bad reviews. They were very rude and stated that it was a Home Depot issue because they make them for them. I also asked them if they made another light the same style that was made better that I could get directly from them and the sales rep said that "I would have to look on my own. Not wanting to buy all 3 new lights so that they will match, I held my nose bought another 2 at Home Depot, crossing my fingers that these news lights will last longer than a year.
