Answer:
If you are sitting at the desk... the 48" is the left and right to the corners across the desk. The corner that goes into the wall directly in front of you is 32" away from keyboard drawer to corner of wall.

Answer:
Wide enough to put your keyboard on and a small mouse pad to the right of it. So keyboard and mouse can go on the pullout tray.

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by this desk is exactly what I need for my home office and its beautiful as well! The desk fits into the corner of the room and provides lower shelving below. I really like the way the keyboard pull out has a folding cover that makes it look like a drawer when closed. Very sturdy, too. September 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by works perfectly for what we needed it for. Looks good in our living room corner. If you don't like to put things together, well, don't get it. That's the way furniture via ground mail works. You have to put it together. I knew what I was in for. All parts were there. No damage to furniture. Once put together, it looks and works good. An upgrade from our previous folding table we had the computer on. We especially like the small shelf at the bottom where we put the pc and ups backup battery. Gets it all off the floor. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks nice and seems to be of good quality. Would have been nice if it was made in this country. The unit was damaged in shipping. Looked like something sharp was dropped on the box and went through until it damaged one side. UPS was long gone by the time the damage was discovered. Purchased mission oak stain and covered the damage to the point that it was hardly noticeable. May 27, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Satisfactory. All parts were present. Camlocks were less than adequate. Thankfully we won't be moving the desk as we don't feel it would survive being lifted. The wood finish of the desk top is less than furniture quality. For the price it was a bit of a disappointment. Expected a bit more. Would recommend as long as you aren't expecting real furniture quality finish or wood products March 27, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Totally Flustrated. When I had all pieces laid out it had chunks of wood broken off, large scratches and dents from something, so disappointed, home depot offered to have me send back, but needed it as I had sold my other one. Fortunately, it's in my office at home so not a lot of traffic, think they should have better packaging and quality control of their items. May 29, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Terrific Mission Corner Desk This corner computer desk works perfectly in my 1921 bungalow. I have very small rooms so this piece had to fit in a corner to work with the rest of the furniture. I am pleased with the style and quality. December 20, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HORRIBLE ARRIVED WITH SMALL SCART, FELL APART AT THE DRAWER, WOULD BRING IT BACK BUT IT IS TOO MUCH TROUBLE. WILL NEVER ANYTHING ON LINE. SCAR ON TOP, DESK DRAWER FELL PART. March 24, 2012
