My sister wanted a cork board for her kitchen/family room area. It needed to fit a specific space, look elegant in her living space and be durable. This was perfect in every way.

I need a long and narrow cork board to put over my desk in the kitchen. This was about the only one I found with the dimensions I needed, but I was hesitant to buy it because of the price. I am glad it did though. This is a solid cork board and the stained finish is nice. It also was very nicely packaged to prevent scratches to the wood.

In restoring my 1918 This Old House I have been the project manager.. I managed on Sticky pads which appeared throughout the house..with a chalk board in the kitchen to keep it all straight. We've been in our house now 9 months and the projects have slowed due to weather.. I designed my Arts Room and this cork board is planning central for the Arts Room, The gardens and the Library.. Corkboard and are table in place..
I like it so well I'm ordering another! One for current projects and one as an idea board! Thanks Martha Stewart!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Grannyto4 Much more than I expected.
The framed cork boards looked nice on my computer screen but when they were unpacked I found excellence. They were heavy and well made, no nails or staples. The frame is of high quality. I would recommend this bulletin board to friends and family.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by midwestchickenlittle CHEAP workmanship - can't hang it level
I planned to hang three of these vertically next to each other, one for each of my children in our mudroom. The corkboards themselves are of fairly decent weight. The frame is more solid than I expected. One had a slight horizontal flaw in the cork itself, but it wasn't too noticeable. Overall, the appearance of these was fairly good. HOWEVER, the problems arose with hanging these. I have hung many, many items (frames, mirrors, pictures, etc), so this does not intimidate me in the least. These boards have keyhole style hangers on the back. However, all the keyholes are in different locations. They should be placed in such a way on the board that the holes are level with each other. They were not. They were not even close. They were not only uneven in their placement on the board, but also crooked. It was impossible to hang any of these level, let alone try to hang three next to each other in a straight, level manner. I now have many holes in my newly painted wall, thanks to several attempts to hang items with uneven, crooked hangers on the back.
I am returning them, and thankfully HD is sending me labels to return them at no cost to myself. I have already ordered a better quality item from a higher end retailer.
You may luck out and get a board that can be hung nicely and in a level fashion. Or you may get three that are products of shoddy workmanship. Good luck.
