The metal bracket didn't fit the plastic frame, so it was impossible to clip in. I studied the instructions carefully, but following them didn't work. I had to whittle away the plastic to get it to fit, and it's still precarious - popping out at the drop of a hat.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jpalco Great shades for sunny window
We have bedroom windows that get full sun in the morning and needed good shades and we bought the blackout cellular shades and they work great. When we open the shades all the way they practically disappear to the top of the window and we get great light in the room. We like the product and would recommend it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FirstTimeHomeOwner Looks Great and Truly Blackout, Great Buy for the Price
These blinds shipped quickly and looked nice upon arrival. We have long (69.5"), but narrow (36" Height) windows so I was concerned that the header might block out too much of the actual window and light given the 48" length, but they do not!
We just installed these today, so I'm not sure about the overall quality and durability over time or if they will help with energy efficiency. However, they are definitely blackout. See attached photos from the middle of the day.
The only con we can see is that there was no handle provided for the bottom to help you raise and lower the shade. This would be an inexpensive addition to the product and would make a huge difference with happiness of the product over its life. Also, we purchase three blinds and we had to have one trimmed at the store, but the man there cut them unevenly, so now we will need a new blind.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by ABC123 IF THEY'D RE-DESIGN THE MOUNTING BRACKETS IT WOULD BE A DECENT PRODUCT
IF THEY'D RE-DESING THE BRACKETS IT WOULD BE A DECENT PRODUCT. I chose to try out this shade because it met my criteria, i.e. is blackout; not too heavy to lift on a 72" wide window; had nice looking material and was reasonably priced. I have installed 8 other cellular shades, (Bali and 2 other brands), with NO difficulty whatsoever. This shade, however has VERY POORLY DESIGNED MOUNTING BRACKETS! The top rail does NOT pop into place the way that it should and it took me maybe 7 hours, over several days, to FINALLY get them to move into place and stay there. Calling the manufacturer for helpful advise did not solve the difficulty. With one stubborn bracket, A FLATHEAD SCREWDRIVER SEEMED TO WORK, VIA INSERTING IT, (FROM UNDERNEATH THE SHADE), INTO THE SLOT IN THE PROTRUDING "PRONG" AND PUSHING DOWN ON IT, WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY PUSHING IN/UP ON THE TOP RAIL. *PERHAPS THAT IS THE MAGIC TRICK TO USE ON ALL THE BRACKETS. I had to use several tries with a rubber mallet to align and get the end-caps to snap into place. The whole experience was time consuming and frustrating. Had I not already drilled 10 screw holes into my wall, I would have taken the shades back. THEY ARE FINALLY UP AND DO LOOK GOOD AND FUNCTION WELL, but when I take them down to paint the wall, I dread the idea of putting them back up again. *FYI: If there are 3 brackets in package, make sure to mount them all, even though the instructions don't mention this. I've never written a review before, but felt others should be FORE-WARNED about these brackets.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KN07 No light, great fit! Easy to order!
Wow, I love this product! We were in desperate need of blocking the southern light pouring in my daughters room. We tried blackout curtains, and they did ok, but the light still came in the sides. With a blackout shade, there is little to no room for light to come in. The shade easily moves up and down, was easy to install, and came quickly in the mail!
I would HIGHLY recommend this shade, it's the only thing that has truly blocked out our light!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DIYDen OK, but not as good as Bali shades
We went with the Home Decorator brand over Bali because they have the inside blackout coating, which does a good job of blocking light and heat. However, the Home Decorator line is not as good as the Bali cut-to-order blackout shades it replaced. They are harder to mount and don't hang quite as well. Additionally. our Bali shades came with sturdy handles, which are very helpful for pulling down cordless shades. These don't include handles, and it looks like we'll need to spend around $4 each on them, if we can find suitable handles online. That said, these are a good, affordable alternative to expensive custom blinds.

Very nice shade which they will custom fit for you at the factor and then ship to your house. My husband says they are easy to install. I only wish there were a few color choices.
