I waited a year and a half before buying window treatments for my bedroom because window treatments are so overpriced. With winter coming I decided to try these shades since the price was right, thinking they would be temporary. But they look great, the fit is perfect, they black out the room sufficiently, and keep the draft out. They were also very easy to install. I highly recommend these shades and plan to keep them up indefinitely. The one drawback is that I would have preferred a corded version of this shade, the cordless doesn't quite go down to the sill 100% when closed. But for the price and features, 99% of the way down is just fine.

I was a little hesitant to spend the money on this shade, but my bedroom gets so much early morning sunlight that eventually I felt like I didn't have much choice. This shade really does block ALL the light it's in front of, and my only regret is not getting it cut to be about 1/2" wider to really go directly up against the edges of my window frame. It's super easy to put up and down and wasn't that hard to assemble. It's made a huge difference in my ability to sleep, so I'd definitely recommend it to anyone else.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CSMartins Good purchase...Does the job!
We really needed some black out shades for our guest bedroom since we have such large windows and our curtains let too much light in. I was happy to have found these in store and it was easy to have a representative cut them to the size we needed. They don't have the same quality as our Bali cellular shade we had to pre-order for the living room. But by no means is this not a good quality product. They definitely keep the light out and when we raise them, they are barely visible. Good purchase for a good value!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jeanine Wonderful value and great product!
I was looking to get 17 cellular shades for our new home. Luckily I found these, online only, highly rated shades and took my chances, giving faith to the great reviews. I am sooooo incredibly happy that I did! These are good quality shades for about half the price of Bali pranced shades. I did end up buying 2 Bali shades because of an out of stock issue so I can compare. Clearly Bali is much more expensive and do appear to be slightly better quality in craftsmanship compared to these, however, I don't think their price is justified because these shades are fabulous. They block out the light like I wanted. They are a very nice, darker brown color. The backside (street side) is white. They were easy to install ourselves. And, although they do not have a handle grip to lift and lower the shade, I actually like it better than the Bali shades that have the litte handle. I am very pleased. The price was fantastic and the quality perfect. I would recommend these over and over and buy them again if I ever needed to.

Blinds were easy to install. Have 6 indoor cats and cordless blind were the way to go. the blinds do blackout very nice and they also do help with insulating the windows

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by G7Gd NO HANDLE?!
I so badly want to give this a 5-star review, but not having a handle is SO ANNOYING! The shades are *almost* perfect - the light blocking is great and the cut-to-fit is awesome! The part that keeps me from raving is the lack of handle (which so many other shades have and I didn't realize these did NOT have until I already purchased cut-to-fit un-returnable shades). Because there is no handle, it makes it very difficult to lower the shades all the way down to the windowsill which allows lots of light to come in through the bottom. In order to close the shade all the way down, I have to awkwardly grab the shade and push down from on top which causes me to squish some of the cellular part. I understand they are trying to keep the cost low, but I would totally BUY a handle if they sold them a la carte. Instead I'm going to have to DIY something...going to warm up the hot glue gun...
I said I'd still recommend them to a friend because aside from the handle, so far the quality is excellent and the blackout coverage is just wonderful! But seriously though...how much extra could it possibly cost to just throw in a little plastic handle?? ;)
