Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ljohnson177 This product has a great appearance
I was disappointed in the quality of the finished product. Not all of them had the strings for opening and raising assembled correctly. Plus the clips they give you to hold the valances on do not clip on the valance tightly. I had to glue them on in order to get them to stay on. Overall, they are nice looking but the quality was a bit lacking.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by GJFlash Just don't expose them to sunlight...Really?
I'm a 30-year remodeling and interior design contractor. I bought two sets of these blinds.
I Installed them a couple weeks ago, and they are literally melting.
Apparently they can't be exposed to direct sunlight, which seems like a major design flaw in window blinds. These windows get less than one hour of direct sunlight a day, one of the windows gets about 15 minutes of direct sun daily and those blinds are also warped.
They are so warped now that they won't open or close, and provide no privacy whatsoever.
Returning for a refund.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Shawn Warps In Sun
Just over a year ago, we purchased these blinds for all the windows in our home. They looked great when I installed them. We got lots of compliments. After a few months, the ones in the west window (getting the afternoon sun) started to gradually warp and become misshaped. Now all of the ones on the west facing windows (all but one) are warped beyond belief. It is an extreme eyesore and can be seen from the street. I would NOT recommend to anyone!!!

I really do like the look of these blinds. As one would imagine, they are hung in my window and that window gets sunlight shining at it. To my surprise, after having these blinds hung in my window for two weeks, they melted and all bow down... like a rainbow! I can't believe that they are not built to withstand sunlight... they're blinds!!!! Now what do I do? I'm happy to share pictures if anyone would like to see how melted blinds look.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Heather The rod inside blind brakes and is not under warenty!
When you pull the cord to open and close the blinds it turns a rod inside the blind. This rod brakes after about a year of use. We have had to replace 2 sets of blinds, and home depot customer service cannot help us because this particular part is not under warranty. If we knew the blinds would cost so much to maintain, we would have spent the money upfront for a higher quality blind instead of having to keep replacing them.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bryan Don't waste your money!!!
We purchased these blinds a few months ago and were thrilled at how wonderful they looked .... until after a few warm days, all of the blinds facing West bowed in the middle and all of the ends curled. We tried turning the shade in the opposite direction to see if they would reshape. One we can't turn at all,two are so bad they'll have to be trashed and one is ok. What a waste of money. Shouldn't these have been heat tested before marketed???

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Keith If your window faces the sun, these are useless junk (Photos attached to review), I really wish I had read the reviews!
Once again I made a purchase without reading the reviews online, and once again I realize I was sold a pile of cheap Chinese junk. Just like other reviewers, mine are warping beyond belief. Don't waste your money!!!
The overview of this product says and I quote "Best of all, the Premium Faux Wood Blind is moisture and heat resistant, making it ideal for any room in your home".
I hate to be repetitive but as I said in the title, If your window faces the sun, these are useless junk.
I purchased one of these 52" (plus three of the 36") for a master bedroom and bath remodel project. Unfortunately I did not get them installed before the 90 day return period. Less than two weeks since the install and the top half of one of the 36" is ridiculously warped (SEE: Photos), a second is starting to warp, the 52" installed on a shaded side of the house is ok so far, and the last (for my bath which also faces the sun) I still have not installed and probably will just throw in the garbage.
Seriously, these are absolute junk, and because I'm beyond 90 days of purchase I have very little hope of return. Realistically, I can't in good conscience even consider donating this last brand new blind to Habitat for humanity.
