23-inch is what you order, and that is what we got for our 23" window. The blinds are 1/2" small so that they will fit inside the window frame.

In my opinion, you will want the extra 1/4" space on each side to allow the blinds to hang properly. I've had many blinds in my lifetime, including custom made and installed, and these blinds look great for the price. You'll be happy with a bit of space on each side!

Mimi,
Please measure your window and use that measurement to order the Home Decorators Collection White Faux Wood Blind, 2 in. Slats. So, if your window measures 23", then order the 23" wide blind. You can view the measuring guide under the description tab on the item page.

I don't think so. You can customize your blinds by removing the bottom piece, take off the slats you don't need, cut the cords, leaving enough to tie back, re-connect the cords, and replace bottom.

Yes, these are adjustable in length and they will cut them to width at the store. We installed them in our small kitchen window and had to be cut a 1/4 of an inch on both sides and my husband and I shortened them to half of their length.

Hello Ameliaview and thank you for your question.
At this time, the blinds can only be cut to width, not length. There are instructions in the packaging that detail how to trim the blinds to the correct length once they are installed.
Best wishes on your project.

These blinds are adjustable to your specifications. Instructions to remove the slats are in the plain, unmarked cardboard box included in the original packaging. The trick is to carefully observe how you are undoing the cords so that you can replace them accurately after removing the desired number of slats.

Answer:
Should not be a problem! You can just remove the pegs at the bottom, cut outer strings that run vertically on the outside of the blinds. DO NOT cut the center/thicker string that runs through the hole in the blind. This center string will get fed back through the bottom pegs and hold the bottom rail on. Once you remove the blinds you need, and put pegs back on, you can cut that center string.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love my windows Love the look of my windows! I have 5 windows next to each other that are 23" wide and 57" long. I took off the curtains and just using the blinds and it gave it such a nice clean look. Super easy to put up. What I really liked about them that is different from the other brands is the strings! They are hooked together and don't get all lopsided! Will do other windows with the same. I ordered online they fit perfect and got here so fast!! May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great fit, easy to install, looks professional, right price did it myself , easy to install with just a screw driver August 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by They look gorgeus I bought these for a window in my living room. They look gorgeus and elegant. Very good for privacy. Also, I love the material: is durable, sturdy and easy to clean. The installation was easy. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I have complete privacy, yeah! I purchased these blinds for all of the windows of my home. Of 13 windows, 8 were a custom size(width) that needed to be cut. 3 of the 13 were for one giant window, 12ft wide. For that window I did not want a single blind, for window opening functionality. All 3 units fit snug, no gaps but there are no overlaps either. Seamless privacy. Realtively easy install. I recommend that it include a center bracket in all widths, for those customers who are sure they need the extra support, even if its only 29" wide. The center brackets are not an item you can purchase seperately either. The pull cord lock mechanism, you could throw in a spare too. Again something you cant purchase seperatly, but breaks easily either in use by the purchaser, or in route from the distributor to the retailer etc. The instructions are terrible. Pictures of each step, with less than five words on what that step is. I progressed through the instructions, but there was some bewilderment along the way. Instructions should be idiot proof. Example, it says in step 1, mount the brackets. How to mount the brackets, was not spelled out. Occasionally I need things spelled out. Product is quality, attractive item. Would buy this product again. Note, The valance, if your using it, be sure to consider if its being mounted inside or outside, to ask the associate to cut to the width of the blinds or 1/16-1/8 shorter than the spread distance of your mounting bracket (from outside edge of brackets.) i.e. the associate needs to remember cut the valance as well if they custom cut the blind. Every single peice of hardware was accounted for in packaging. Nothing was broken either, and that is a rarity these days. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by These are nice quality, easy to install and fit well. These are nice quality, easy to install and fit well. August 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Will purchase moe Bought two of these blinds: one for the master bath and one for the guest bedroom. They were fairly easy to install although the instructions were not very clear. They look great! Am considering purchasing more for the kitchen because they are such an improvement over the 10+ year old aluminum blinds. I have purchased Home Decorator products (furniture, rugs) before so I expected and received great quality. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I'd buy them again. These blinds look nice in my window and block the light when I close them. The actual panel is more flimsy that what I expected, but they aren't real wood, so that is why. They don't look plastic though. I'm happy I made this purchase. It was a great value. They were also very easy to install. It took me about 15 minutes to do two windows. July 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bought a total of five of these When I went to hang one of these was broken in the string and would not function. July 5, 2016
