Since this comes assembled with the granite top already installed how much does this vanity weigh? If I get white gloves delivery will Home depot deliver all the way into the bath it is being installed? Thanks
Asked by: dcsron
they delivered it to the house on time. no assembly required but refused to open it or put it in the bathroom. this was a one story house... had to sign and say it was ok even though we did not get to inspect it. they said even if it was damaged its not their problem would have to be taken back to homedepot by us. other than that very nice vanity and very HEAVY over 300lbs!

Is the cabinet finish truly distressed, i.e. edges sanded?

The internet picture of this item does not looked "distressed" in the true sense of the word. Most distressed items appear to have some of the edges, etc. that look like they've been sanded. In the picture it appears to have a smooth finish.

No, nothing but a nice even coat of off white paint.

Customer Reviews

Davenport 73 in. Vanity in Distressed White with Granite Vanity Top in Grey and Undermount Sink is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful & Unique I searched several sites, shopped design centers and found this double vanity at, none other than, Home Depot! Truthfully, it's was the most unique looking vanity and I was comfortable with the price. I read all the reviews and decided to take a chance. It is constructed beautifully. Curved edges and attention to detail with ample storage. It is a soft white and the granite is a nice mixture of black, white and grey. My main concern was the weight of the piece, as the granite is attached, making it almost 400 lbs. All of the reviews mentioned this and I paid additional for the delivery to my second floor bath. The 2 men had quite a time getting it upstairs. I would take this into account if you don't have room to maneuver this large of a vanity. Overall, I love it. I am having it professionall installed and will be adding a backsplash.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very heavy - be prepared Be prepared to have 4 people lift this vanity. The description indicates "cabinet" is 178 lb. - however, they didn't mention the counter top is an additional 200 lb. We are still waiting to get it to the 2nd floor. Had a problem with the tub ordered by Home Depot and remodeler went to other jobs till we get a replacement. He indicated he will need 4 people to lift this to the 2nd floor and the staircase has a platform 2 steps up and turns on a 90 degree angle to reach the 2nd floor. No idea yet how things will go because of disappointment with delivery of the cracked tub.

It is delivered already assembled and is extremely heavy. I installed in an older house where the plumbing did not line up the prefab holes in the back panel, so I had to make some custom modifications. BTW, everyone who sees it, loves it. Note that it does not come with the faucets as are depicted in the picture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid vanity Love my vanity. A few things I was not impressed with was the fact that a couple of the hinges were painted and some were not. Almost like it may have been dinged up and instead of taking off the hinges to touch it up they just painted over them. So I need to figure out how to get white paint off oil bronze hinges. The counter is lighter than what I anticipated but I am totally fine with that. The storage space is great! The side cupboards are much deeper than I anticipated as well as the drawers. Outside of the paint on the hinges I think this is a beautiful piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice looking free standing vanity Just what I expected, except to call the color "antique white " is misleading. The color is a little off bright white but close, their is no antiquing, streaking, distressing or over coloring details at all, just close to bright white. However the vanity it's self is very nice, I particularly like the side door areas where I installed electrical outlets for such things as rechargeable tooth brushes &??? ect. It keeps all the clutter and cords off the top of the vanity, very slick! You'll need about 7" of clearance (Clarance) beyond the side of the vanity to open the side doors all the way, but as little 3" would still give reasonable access to the side shelves due to the way the doors curve into the body of the vanity. By all means pay the $30.00 for the "white glove"shipping and handling THIS BUGGER IS HEAVY, (but very well packed) the two men that delivered it could bearly pick it up and get it into a single story ranch house! The granit top is particularly nice, well machined and polished, looks just like the picture, black, white and grey spots on a light grey field, no streaks or swirls just speckles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful french-country look The vanity set is just what i'm looking for, it is perfect for my BR renovation. It looks classy and durable, and the best thing is it came assembled, so there was no problem w/ broken stone top .The only negative is it is such a heavy furniture to carry up the 2nd floor, it took 4 strong men to carry it up the stairs, but once it was situated,it is all worth it! It came w/ a light grey-speckled granite top and 2 white bowls.
