I searched for the cheapest price. I read a few reviews about the quality of the product but decided to take a chance. They are okay for the price. They are a bit shaky, but I hope if we are careful they will last a year or so. The fabrics have started to sag after just a few days. The foot rests are not sturdy - they wobble alot. I can see them breaking soon. I was most upset with the shipping. When I placed the order there was a problem with the payment address - we just moved. I immediately called to correct it. The chairs were in stock and it still took 5 days before they were shipped. I was so frustrated with the delay in shipping I don't plan on ordering from them any time soon.

after only a couple of weeks of use the footrest on 3 out of 4 chairs has stripped out of the legs.
The footrest only has one screw to attach it to the legs and the other side goes into a pre-attached metal bar and was never sturdy. Even after repeatedly tightening the screw, these foot rests were not sturdy and quickly failed.
We are returning all chairs.
Customer service was very helpful-provided all the information we needed, including pre-paid shipping labels and also put a Quality Assurance note into their team to review the product.

I purchased 2 of these chairs to use at craft fairs. Assembly was straight forward, the chairs look great and it appears as though the canvas will hold up. However after just a few hours of use the foot rest assembly already showed signs of coming apart. By the end of a 3 day show the foot rest was no longer usable on one of the chairs. The recessed thread sleeve was pulling out of the chair frame with just minimal use. A bolt that goes through the frame with a wing nut would be a better way to construct the foot rest, and I intend to make that change myself.

I have shown horses for years - and director chairs were very popular. I purchased this chair (counter height) to use in my living room (1840's log house) - and it looks great. I also purchased the canvas back and seat - and will have the name of my farm stitched on the back. Looks great in my country home. There was a little damage on the arm (from shipping), but the representative who I called about it was very pleasant and helpful and resolved my problem to my satisfaction.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CATeacher Perfect height!
All of the director's chairs I have come across have either been too tall (bar stool height) or too short (standard chair level). As a teacher, I needed a chair that was just above the students' desks, but not at a bar stool height. This one is perfect! The only thing that I'm concerned about is the foot rest. It seems a bit wobbly, therefore, I plan to never put a lot of weight on it. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase!

These Director's Chairs are the perfect touch at the eating bar in our casual home. The "honey" finish is a warm golden brown with a slight reddish tint. Well packaged, and easy to unfold and to attach the canvas seat and back. The one weak spot in the design is the foot board, which might eventually come loose ,if used by energetic kids, as it is held by two short screws.

I had read the reviews before I purchased, and found a couple negitave ones. I figure, well, for the price, I will try them. I am thankful I didnt let those negitive ones sway me! These chairs are GREAT. I have the red fabric on mine and they look great. The assembly was seriously 2 mins for each, if that. They are surprisingly sturdy as well!!!! I would DEFINATELY buy more when and if I need them!

I purchased this chair to use at weekly markets as my vendor's chair. The tables I use to vend are higher than standard -- about 37 inches, so I could not use a standard folding chair to sit and interact with customers. This chair is perfect for me! It is a great height -- I can sit comfortably and still engage with my customers. It is very comfortable, and it folds and unfolds in seconds.
