This product comes with the padding attached. I am concerned about moisture and putting this product in a kitchen area where spills could take place. Does the foam padding that is attached handle moisture? Thanks.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.3 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Deceiving Color We were very dissatisfied with the product. The small samples are very deceiving and does not look how we expected it too. The seams are very dark around the entire board which was hard to tell based on the 2x3" piece we got to take home. When you start laying the pieces next to each other it created a much more prominent dark seam. We went back to the store to look at the larger sample 12x12" and the lighting was so bad you still couldn't tell that it was going to look like what we got. June 28, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed - looks nothing like the 6in sample Wish we had looked at the reviews and pictures of previous buyers prior to purchasing this laminate. Not at all what we were expecting the floor to look like with all the dark and light stripes unless that is what you are into. We paid to have it installed. We now have to paint walls, cabinets and redo counter tops to aesthetically make our kitchen look decent... $$$ July 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great look I put this flooring in a house that will be on the market soon. It looks so good, I might even put it in my next house. March 10, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Love the way this looks. Not very durable. This flooring looks beautiful in my kitchen. It is NOT very durable. If you buy this don't EVER let this get wet. Within a week after mopping three boards bubbled up. A WEEK! I'm very disappointed with this purchase. I was hoping for several years of use but this may just be temporary. So sad. May 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by sample looks great - floor looks hideous! The 3" x3" sample at the store does not accurately depict the true colors of this floor. Once a few boxes are down it looks like an ugly striped mess. My suggestion to anyone interested in this pattern is to purchase 2 boxes and lay then down first. I guarantee you'll be returning it. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Distressed after installing Distressed Maple Riverwood. While putting the floors together and a good portion of it done I kept noticing the ends on previous installed boards gaps getting wider and or opening up. We would have to tap them back together (easy enough with no trim installed, because you can hold one end while tapping the other). After tapping them together other gaps would open up on other boards. My wife and me would keep double checking and tapping gaps shut. Before I put the baseboard trim on we double checked all gaps and of course found more had opened up. Once we were sure all gaps were tight and with the recommended spacing all around the perimeter I nailed down the base boards putting some downward pressure on them when nailing. 2 weeks have gone by and every time I go in the room I notice some end gaps getting wider. Some with rooms I have done since. It is not easy to close gaps with baseboard trim on because you cant get to either end to hold or tap. In summary The end gaps do not snap securely enough to stay together over time. If you were to put glue on the ends it might help but slow the process down more than it already is. Otherwise the appearance looks awesome and you really actually have to try to scratch / damage them in order to leave marks. October 16, 2014
