Blinds were easy to install and decent quality. I had to do both inside and outside installations and they worked well. Good design and they work fine. Method for shortening needs to be simpler and less time consuming. Suggest pre-drilling holes with a 2x smaller bit size than the screws provided. If after installing the blinds you may find that shims are needed on either side of the main blind section when installed in the holding brackets. This prevents the blind from shifting to one side when you pull on the cords. I just used some doubled up corrugated cardboard.

In over all the review concern the product is amazing, so I am willing to present it to other people as the best choice when buying wood blind.

We wanted a "wood" finish blind for two rooms and this fit the bill exactly. The product is "wood" but actually a wood composite but still wood. The Instructions are very straight forward and customizing the length for the window is super easy and the instructions are very clear. I would recommend reading through the instructions twice before removing slats for that custom fit to the window height. The 2 inch blinds are very good at blocking out ambient light as well so the room is comfortably dark during the daylight hours. The only item I would note would be the valance attachment which is straight forward but I installed the receivers too flush to the wall which gave me a little bit of a problem getting the valance attached although I did get it on both times. I would buy this brand and model again as a go-to blind.

I wasnt expecting a top end blind for the price I paid for them but I was expecting something better than this. The associate at the local HD told me that shortening the blinds was a bit of a pain, I appreciated the honesty, but being in construction for 40 years I thought how bad could it be. Trust me, it's a pain. My biggest gripe is the warped slats and trim for the headpiece. The "thread" that holds it all together and controls movement looks like it will fall apart after a year or two of sun comingu thru the window. Hopefully it will last that long.

If I could give this a zero I would. We bought the wooden blinds to replace what was already there. These are not cheap and one of the blinds is only a few months old. The new blind cord frayed and is now ripped. I was told the string is not covered as is normal wear and tear. Am trying to get new string to even order two pay for as cannot find string anywhere and the customer service at email@example.com is terrible slow and not helpful. I would never seek out to purchase these blinds the cheap Walmart blinds are more durable. What a total disappointment!!!

I bought these blinds for our rental house and they warped, the ends bend upward and look funny. I checked the warranty and they do not have one for warping, also home depot would not return them after 90 days. I called the manufacturer and they will not compensate, they were $78 per blind. This is poor customer service. I would be careful if you buy them.

It was really convenient having it cut at the store, ready to hang the same day! I purchased this same blind years ago and it was great. These, I got 4, are slightly saggy in the center because the slats are too thin for a 58" window. They look cheap and low quality. Maybe they'd look ok in a MUCH narrower window.
