Is the granite top come already attached to the vanity or do you have to assemble it?

I was wondering if the top was already attached and if so to the whole vanity? I would think it would be difficult to get in our bathroom already attached.

Answer:
The top comes attached, and it is about 288lbs without packaging. It is very heavy, however the legs do twist off. You will probably need shims to level it if your floor is even off a bit. You cannot remove the granite, as it is caulked and screwed on. Also, the shelves will have to be removed to assemble the drainage plumbing below.

This vanity only has the one size option and it's not 36 inch, but I thought I saw something similar to it online. It didn't have drawers just the doors. Do a search online for 36 inches.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 134 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worth the money! I absolutely loved this piece! Although, from others reviews and pictures, I expected it to be more of a tan color granite top, the one I received was grey, white and black colors. I had to change my design plan, but the changes were spectacular! It turned out amazing! Very happy with the reveal! June 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect...Just what I ordered The delivery people were awesome. They uncrated it and moved it in. It arrived in perfect condition. It is really classy and replaced the piece of junk that came in the tract home. It really dresses the master bath up. We really like the height, it is just right. The silent close doors are a huge plus to those loud banging ones on the old vanity. We are beyond pleased. First time I ordered such an expensive major renovation project online... I was really nervous. Wished I would have taken a before picture. Thank you Home Depot! January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Classy Vanity Granite slightly more pink than beige. Easy to upgrade bathroom into upscale level. Got t"Tampa" fake marble tiles 88 cents per 12x12, and Moen Banbury faucets from Home Depot also. That and fancy looking rug and Wow! Jealous it is now on sale. February 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very happy with this purchase I read all the reviews I could find on this vanity and decided to take the gamble as most were good. I'm very happy with it! It's constructed and packed very well! I would've liked for it to have a back splash to match the granite top but knew it didn't come with one before I ordered it. I purchased tile to use for the back splash and it looks great. There were complaints about the color of the granite being too pink. It's more of a taupe/gray/black/white speckled pattern. It looked like it had a pink hue undertone when it was sitting in my garage before the installation. But once it was inside it doesn't have that same hue. It looks more grey/beige/black and white. It wasn't exactly what I would've chosen but I do like it. The hardware is black. The sinks are deep. The non slamming doors and quiet close drawers work fine. The bottom drawer is quite deep. This vanity is, as others have said, very heavy. The granite top is attached. It took 3 strong men to get it in my bathroom and set in place as it had to be lifted to over existing plumbing pipes that are in the floor. If you don't have floor plumbing to worry about and can slide it in, 2 men should be able to do it. Hope this helps in your decision making...... February 4, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Shouldn't Have These Issues For A Piece That Cost So Much This is the most expensive piece of "furniture" we have ever bought and upon installation it was the nicest. We love the color (grayish blue) and also the color of the granite. However, within 6 months the paint and finish was chipping off. Currently, a year later we have no less than 8 spots where the gray has flaked off and the white is showing through. Since I use gentle cleaners and mostly just a damp washcloth to wipe it down I am assuming it is from toothpaste and whatnot that sits too long on it and by too long I mean 3 or 4 days since that is the longest it goes between cleanings. My recommendation is to not use this in a bathroom with kids or adults who brush their teeth. October 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Vanity I decided to buy this vanity while upgrading my bathroom. I looked at all the previous reviews. Here was my experience. Many people wrote that the granite has a pinkish hue, mine did, I know some peoples didn't but it is a natural stone and your results may vary. My vanity did come with a slight ding on the lower left corner, not enough to send back but enough to make you mad when you spend this much on a product. The manufacturer also says the top is sealed at the factory, it is not. Water absorbs right into the granite so I recommend sealing it right away. I think it is a great looking vanity. I thought the price was great and it looks great in my bathroom. It doesn't come with a backsplash, so I added one that matched the tile I picked. This vanity is designed to go in the center of the room as the sides are not flat and kind of taper off at the end, this made it impossible to put on a side splash when I was installing. I am very happy with my purchase. I would have gave it a 4.5 if that was possible but couldn't give it a perfect score due to a few problems. Don't let all the negative things that I said deter you, I just want people to get a realistic expectation on their purchase. I love it and would buy it again, please see my pictures. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Bathroom Vanity This vanity is a beauty! We purchased it for a remodel in September 2015 and I love it. The granite color is a little "pinker" than I expected but with our tan walls it works. Has darker colors mixed in so that helps too. Lots of storage and the all in one sinks are great. One thing is it is super heavy! Took several guys to install it and its all one piece. You can not take the top off, or at least we didn't. I would recommend to anyone wanting to really make their bathroom a show stopper. October 29, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very heavy, impossible to move The {extremely heavy} granite top to this vanity comes already installed. Meaning, the entire vanity weighs about 500 pounds. If I had known the granite top came installed and already caulked on to the vanity, I would not have purchased it. I ordered it online and this was delivered to my home. The delivery people did not (and I assume could not) carry it on their own. They used a machine to move it off of the delivery truck. So I don't understand how they think customers could move it? Unfortunately the bathroom this vanity was going in was upstairs. It took 4 people to lift this thing up a flight of stairs and they barely made it. I would have gladly returned the vanity rather than have my family risk their lives to carry it upstairs, but of course moving it and hauling it back to the store posed just as much of a problem.. It is a very pretty vanity and looks very nice, but it is absolutely ridiculous how they pre-installed the top. Unless you are The Rock, I would not recommend. June 7, 2016
