After installing the floor a week before Thanksgiving it looked nice.....Little did we know that the floor scratches easily and is not what we expected. If I could return this I would in a second.

Received 5 boxes of the walnut strand bamboo flooring. It was very easy to install once the first plank was laid. Looks more beautiful installed than out of the box. Seems very sturdy. Left approx 1/4" of space on all edges to allow for expansion.

I have had the flooring installed for almost two months now. It is lovely and guests really like it! Here are the various thoughts that have popped up since purchasing the product.
*There was no exact sample in the store, but I had a good enough idea by comparing other samples with the photo online. It is as I hoped it would be.
*The installer mentioned there was a little glue on some of the pieces. He said this helped with the ease of installation. The only negative is that there are still little spots here and there, but they come off without much effort if wiped with a clean cloth.
*Because the color is so dark, lint, hair, etc., shows up easily (I vacuum or dust mop the flooring a couple times a week).
*One of the primary reasons I purchased this particular product was because a prior review stated it didn't scratch. I have a dog that likes to scratch his "area" before lying down. I have noticed that you can see some of the scratches, but they do not penetrate the wood...they can be rubbed out with a clean cloth. My hope is that the finish will continue to protect the wood.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and I love the ease of cleaning, therefore, one might ask why I didn't rate it a "5" star product. It really comes down to the excess glue on the wood and the fact that two months later, I'm still finding areas that need to be cleaned. Plus, if you are one that likes your flooring to look meticulous, be aware that dark wood shows more of the little particles than a lighter wood might show. I would, however, definitely recommend this product.

We purchased this in 2012 and had Home Depot install it, it scratched very easily. After ordering replacement boards we received a damaged shipment, the boxes were damaged and boards were warped and pitted. After four more orders we gave up,

We installed this flooring ourselves. We also read all of the reviews....based off of a lot research prior to our final decision.... This flooring is considered very inexpensive. We just didn't want to spend a lot of money...but wanted something that was decent in quality and looked good....We got both! It was easy to install and looks fantastic...a little more swiffering is needed because we have two dogs, but that is to be expected when you have dark floors.

We've had hardwood floors put into every house we've owned since college, but this is the first we installed ourselves. We got a deal on the glue installation flooring. As long as we kept the glue off our fingers and extra rags, it was easy. (Don't ever let the glue sit - it dries quick and will never come off.) The floor is very strong and beautiful. We're going to extend it from our kitchen/study into our dining room and family room.
As with any wood flooring, it will scratch if not protected, so use furniture protectors and rugs. Don't get the dark wood look if you have dogs - hair and scratches show up more. This floor looks and performs like a million dollar floor but only cost $1000.

Not a bad product for the cost and they look nice. However, I do believe that it the floors will scratch and dent quite easily. I've only had the floor down for a few weeks and have already noticed a couple scratches. I dropped a metal candle holder from about 3 feet and it nicked the floor.
The largest problem is the delivery. Two orders that shipped to my Home Depot store had to be returned because every board in the order was damaged. I had 4 boxes shipped to my house and they were in horrible shape. The flooring manufacturer has to either build a better box or find a different delivery service. It appears that UPS may be dropping them from 20 - 30 feet.

This is the worst quality product that I have see in a while. About half of the material we received was bowing which made the installation very difficult but then after installation it makes walking on the floor feel horrible because it has a huge bounce. Our contractor had to remove the material in several places to replace with non-bowing material. We had to purchase 30 percent additional material which came in damaged boxes which pushed our installation date by a couple weeks.
I would advise anybody who is looking to install this flooring to be very very careful before ordering.
Not sure if Home Depot will do anything for our wasted material and extra contractor cost of installation.
Home Depot: Please do not carry material with such poor quality. When half each box contains damaged material, you should put the true cost f this floor at $5/sq ft.
